My 4-day safari wow,! honestly, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever done. We saw so much, lions lounging under trees, a whole herd of elephants crossing right in front of us, giraffes stretching for leaves, zebras, wildebeest, and even a leopard chilling in a tree one afternoon. The sunsets were unreal, and waking up to the sounds of the bush every morning is something I’ll never forget. Our guide was amazing. He knew the area inside out, spotted animals we would’ve completely missed, and explained everything in a way that made it all so interesting without ever feeling like a lecture. Super patient, funny, and clearly loved what he does. Made the whole experience even better. If you’re thinking about doing a safari, just go. We started early, heading out of Nairobi toward the Rift Valley. The road took us past Lake Naivasha for a short stop, just enough time to stretch our legs, watch the hippos in the shallows, and grab a quick coffee while the flamingos shifted across the water in the distance. **Amazing 4-day Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru safari – George and David made it unforgettable** We were picked up right on time from the Sheraton Hotel in Nairobi. Smooth start, no waiting around. From there we headed out on our 4-day safari covering Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. First two nights we stayed at Mara Maisha Camp. The tents were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location put us right in the middle of the action. Early morning and late afternoon game drives were the highlight. We saw lions resting under trees, a big herd of elephants crossing the plains, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and plenty of antelope. One afternoon we watched a cheetah on the hunt and later caught a beautiful sunset over the savannah. The camp itself had great food and a relaxed atmosphere after long days out. Then we drove to Lake Nakuru and stayed at Lake Nakuru Lodge. The lodge has a nice setting overlooking the lake and the rooms were comfortable. Game drives around the park were excellent – thousands of flamingos along the shoreline, white rhinos grazing close by, baboons, warthogs, and more birds than I can name. The scenery around the lake is completely different from the Mara and made a perfect contrast. Our guides, George and David, were the real stars of the trip. George was the main guide super knowledgeable, patient, and great at spotting animals even from far away. David was training with him and both of them worked really well together. They kept us informed, answered every question, made sure we got the best photo opportunities, and just made the whole experience fun and easy. Honestly the best guides we’ve had on any safari. Everything was well organised from start to finish. Highly recommend this itinerary and especially these two guides if you get the chance. A fantastic safari that felt personal and well looked after the whole way.

We did a 4-day tour that took us through Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, with a stop at Lake Naivasha on the way to Nairobi, and I’m still buzzing from it. This was hands-down one of the best trips I’ve ever done. In the Masai Mara, we saw so many lions prides lounging under trees, a couple on the hunt, and even a big male marking his territory. The sheer number of animals was overwhelming in the best way possible. Then at Lake Nakuru, we hit the jackpot with three white rhinos grazing close to the road (such a rare treat) and a whole group of Rothschild giraffes elegantly feeding on the acacias. The flamingos were out in force too, painting the lake pink. The highlight for me was the boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Our boatman had this incredible way of feeding the fish, he’d toss pieces into the water and suddenly the lake would explode with activity as huge fish jumped right out to catch them. It was wild, funny, and something I’ll never forget. Everything from the early morning game drives to the knowledgeable guides made the whole experience feel seamless and special. We did an incredible 4-day safari with Flexible Kenya Safaris and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment I booked, everything was smooth and well-organized. They handled all the transfers, park fees, and accommodations without any stress on my end. Our guide, George, was absolutely awesome. Prides lounging in the shade, a couple of young males patrolling, and even a female with cubs. George knew exactly where to go and we spent hours just watching them without feeling rushed. From there we headed to Lake Nakuru, where the highlight for me was seeing the rhinos up close. Both black and white rhinos grazing peacefully – such powerful animals. The lake itself was beautiful with flamingos adding splashes of pink everywhere. We also spotted plenty of giraffes, zebras, and even a few leopards in the trees. The lodges were comfortable, the food was tasty and fresh (I loved the Kenyan breakfasts), and the driver was safe and reliable on those bumpy roads. First of all, Jonathan from Flexivel Kenya Safaris was willing to entertain our request to only do ground handling for us as we wanted to collect some Avios points by booking the accommodation separately on our own. Communication through Whatsapp was super clear and professional. Response from Flexivel was prompt and explanation was really helpful. On the day that the assigned driver pick us up from our AirBnB stay in Nairobi, we were welcomed by 2 hugely hospitable gentlemen. George and his apprentice David were professional, punctual and very easy going. It took us about 6 hours to reach Sopa Lodge in Maasai Mara from Nairobi and the drive was nice albeit a bit tough on the bums in the final 1.5 hours. But this is truly understandable as this is what we and anyone going for a safari would have to adjust to. So we took it as a preliminary stage to what we’ll expect for the next 2 days. We immediately get ourselves ready to meet the Maasai @ Maasai Village after check in and late lunch. That was a wonderful welcome by the Maasai. The game drives next day started early as immediately after breakfast, our Safari truck started rolling its wheels at around 6:40am. We were so lucky that immediately after we passed the Lodge Entrance gate, we saw a giraffe cooly wandering around. Family of baboons and several African Buffalos met us shortly, and throughout the day that only finished around 5:30pm, there were already so many in the lists of animals that we managed to see. Thompson’s gazelles, Topi Gazelles, wild hogs, a few jackals, bush chickens, impalas,zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, cheetah, a couple of lioness and lion, the hippos and crocodiles and many more. We had our packed lunch ready for break during mid day. George and David took turns in their duties in driving us not only safely around, but tirelessly explaining to us some facts about the animals and their habitat in this Great Rift Valley. We could see their dedication in trying their best to entertain us with the best views of those animals, approaching some animals from a camera angles that suit us. Once we get back to the Lodge, we could say that it was a very productive day for all of us. The next and last day for our Game Drive, George and David took us on a different route this time to look for Rhinos as that was the only one missing from the Big 5. Although we didnt manage to see any Rhino, on this second day, we managed to see a big Leopard and again, we see more lions and lioness, and of course the rest of the animals are everywhere around the National Park. Since today is our final day here, we get to snap some good photos for memories as to be honest, we really enjoy the savannah grassland that this Great Rift Valley presented us.
