4 - Dag Nijlcruise vanuit Aswan met Abu Simbel en Ballon

Kareem was our incredible guide as we cruised the Nile and stopped at all of the fascinating sights along the way, and we could not have been happier. We are usually not big on tours or cruises, but this is the way to see the many stunning sights along the Nile -- take a cruise (for evening and some daytime relaxation as the Nile slips by), and have a personal guide (to avoid the large groups and get the most out visits to the many sites). Kareem is a very knowledgable Egyptologist, and we learned and appreciated things that people in the larger groups (arranged directly by the ship) did not. He made ancient Egypt come to life with his stories of the gods and goddesses told in the beautiful hieroglyphics, and helped us learn how to read a little bit of the stories etched in the ancient walls. Kareem also made sure that we went to the best viewing spots and stayed ahead of the teeming crowds, keeping our visits interesting, efficient, and fun. He was also super prompt, met us at our hotel, made sure we knew when and where we were going next, and went out of his way to let us know about things that were happening on board the ship and to take us to places that he thought we might like, based on what we had talked about. Finally, Kareem is a kind and thoughtful person with a great sense of humor, both very knowledgable and very fun to be around, and we now consider him a friend. If you are considering seeing ancient Egypt beyond the pyramids, this is the way to do it. Just know that you will be busy, going to multiple sites each day: it will be busy and fun. The company did a good job of making all of the arrangements -- you can trust that all will be well once you arrive in Aswan; the guide will arrange to meet you at your hotel or nearby, and all will be taken care of after that. However, the company was lacking on communicating details of the trip, such as how we would initially meet up and departure times for all of the excursions -- you had to trust that it would all work out, you had a place on the ship, and so on. It did, but I would have felt better if we had been provided all of the details in advance.

Overall satisfactory organisation, but lack of communication from Viator. The level of guides is uneven. Some visits include visits to shops presented as demonstrations. Special mention to Khaled, very good guide, and Mahmoud, simply exceptional. He had the art and manner to tell us in detail evidence to support the details of the story of the Pharaohs.

Only negative we had was the unknown time schedule, you will.be getting up a 4am daily. Also the amount of tips we would have to give. We had a group of 4 each had a couple hundred in small bills and ran short. Make sure you bring LOTS of small bills. Bathrooms and multiple drivers and will expect a tip.

I put a star only because of the amazing tour guides we had. The rest was not what we paid for and extremely disappointed. - We supposed to have different ship, cruise has been changed for one less category, 10 minutes before boarding. - ⁠the room that they gave us is not the one that I paid for, they changed my room for a worse one. - ⁠i supposed to have tour guide, you asked me to pay more for the tours, I paid extra for the tour guide, (apart from what I have already paid) - ⁠now hot air ballon is cancelled without any reasons… while another guests from the same cruise they have the hot air ballon and was not cancelled for them….

Our cruise on the upper Nile was most enjoyable. Our guide Mohammed was an outstanding Egyptologist. His knowledge and enthusiasm ensured we had the best possible experience.

Booked this Nile Cruise with Cruise Era… last minute 4 days before our arrival date to Egypt. They met us at Aswan airport as promised and t Ship M/S Renaissance is Decent. Guides showed up on time kept us informed. we had a private trip with guide and car to ourselves. Only negative thing is all ships arrive at temples at same time which lead to crowding… at Temples. I recommend this cruise company. PS: you will receive details about your ship only 24 hours before, so don’t be nervous. Download WhatsApp that’s how they like to communicate. Internet is very poor on the ship. Get Travel eSIM. Keep plenty of small bills ( Egyptian pounds) on hand, You have to pay for toilet. Thank you Cruise Era

Excellent food and ambience, sundeck very cozy and pool super clean. Room is clean and comfortable although bed was a tad bit hard. Staff is friendly and chef is great ,

Super Mo shuttle me around efficiently. I was busy practically the entire time: the days start early and some end at night. My guide Super Mo. Was a scholar of Egyptology. And a patient man.

The visit of Egypt was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived everything was perfectly organized by the staff of the agency. One hundred percent recommended.

Really, it was Fabulous experience. Tour to the pyramids & the Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Saladin and the Nile cruise ship in Upper Egypt. Great company, the Best service & facilties. Keep up the great job. Many thanks.
