Verken het hele stadscentrum in 3,5 uur, inclusief verborgen plekjes. Geniet van de geschiedenis van Zürich van voor Christus tot heden in anekdotes en legendes. Proef de geneugten van de regio en maak geweldige foto's met panoramisch uitzicht. Leer met een lokale gids over de ontwikkeling van de stad, de wonderen van de Romeinen en de achtergronden van financieel succes. Dompel jezelf onder in het leven van 2000 jaar geleden en leer hoe de lokale bevolking nu leeft. Ontdek waarom Zürich kan worden beschouwd als een stad van 8 revoluties.

De gids ontmoet de gasten op het centraal station voor de "Toeristeninformatie". We lopen rond en toeristen ontdekken de geheimen van het station.
Daarna gaan we naar het stadscentrum. Toeristen verkennen de Bahnhofstrasse, Rennweg, Augustinergasse en andere straten en hoogtepunten. De gids vertelt over de geschiedenis van succes en nieuwsgierige weetjes over het land. Waarom is Zwitserland bijvoorbeeld nummer één op het gebied van de productie van horloges? Tijdens de wandeling maken we enkele fotostops.
We blijven Zürich verkennen en bezoeken Lindenhof - de plaats waar de stad ongeveer 2000 jaar geleden werd gesticht. Toeristen leren de geschiedenis kennen, maken foto's van het spectaculaire uitzicht op Zürich en ervaren de "tijdmachine".
We gaan richting de Sint-Pieterskerk. Toeristen kunnen foto's maken van de grootste wijzerplaat van Europa. De gids toont het Romeinse erfgoed en vertelt meer verhalen over de beroemde burgers van Zürich.
We gaan naar Münsterhof. Toeristen leren over de Fraumünster-kerk, ontdekken legendes en mythen van Zürich door Fraumünster's Kreuzgang te bezoeken.
Daarna gaan we naar het meer van Zürich en het Bellevue-plein. Toeristen kunnen genieten van het uitzicht op de Alpen, foto's maken met een prachtig uitzicht en meer informatie krijgen over de stad. Wij verzorgen een degustatie van Zwitserse specialiteiten: kaas, chocolade, bekende Zwitserse likeur en een bijzondere frisdrank.
Daarna beginnen we de rechteroever van de Limmat-rivier te verkennen. We bezoeken de Grossmünster-kerk - het icoon van Zürich. Toeristen leren over de Reformatie en maken foto's van de stad.
We vervolgen de wandeling door Niederdorf, de historische wijk, waar veel restaurants en bars te vinden zijn. We gaan richting het Cabaret Voltaire. Toeristen verkennen de geschiedenis van dadaïsten en zien de plaatsen waar revoluties begonnen. Gids toont 2 geheime plekken.
We eindigen onze tour op het centrale plein, dat op een paar minuten lopen van het centraal station ligt. Toeristen krijgen suggesties van de gids, hoe ze voor elke smaak tijd in Zürich kunnen doorbrengen.

Fantastic 3.5 hours with Anna hearing about the history and life in Switzerland. We just learnt so much and she was so interesting. It was a super hot day but she managed our pace well and kept us in the shade. We saw all kinds of things only a local and a guide can show you so I’d recommend booking this tour and being delighted!

Every tour we looked at were either all about Chocolate or Cheese so we were very happy to find this tour with a historical view of the city and country. Then when we met and got to know Anna we were absolutely thrilled. She was AMAZING! The tour started right away in the train station and over the course of our 3h30m tour we did a lap around the city as she wove together the history of the country and the city with the various sites we were seeing. From the Romans to the present, 8 different revolutions in culture, science, education, etc. were discussed. We really felt like we were getting a college level course in all things Swiss. While our feet were sore, we were sad to see Anna off. What a joy to hear her stories of life in this influential city and country! Of, and she surprised us with Cheese, chocolate and more at a perfect timing for a break so you get that too!!!
