3 uur kajakken in de baai van Kotor in Montenegro

NEVER SHOWED! Don’t book! Does not exist anymore! Very poor experience no communication did not let us know that it did not exist anymore messaged operator with no response waiting for a 30 minutes in the sun with my family!

Wrong location didn’t reply to messages either so didn’t even get to go waste of time and I better get refunded

The guide didn't show up for this trip and they have not responded to my requests by phone or via the contact details on Viator. I have also asked Viator for a refund on the app, and have not had a response.

Unfortunately the company was a no show at the agreed meeting point for me and 2 others who had also separately booked on the trip. The contact number I was given is not being answered and I have heard nothing back having messaged requesting a refund. Disappointing to say the least.

There was no excursion! What you advertised did not happen! There were no instructions in the email receipt from you. There was no meeting point for the excursion we had to borrow someone’s phone to call the outfitter, he barely spoke English and told us it was not a tour. It was simply renting kayaks for a few hours, we were to go to a restaurant to pick up the kayaks. This was not a real excursion and we will need to get our money back. You shouldn’t advertise this as a tour. This is not a tour. It’s simply a kayak rental with no one there to direct you or get you started and no safety equipment.

This was cancelled in the morning but I've had to ask for a refund when we got home from holiday because it has not been done automatically. Not good customer service!

Tour was cancelled. But I don't even think there is a tour. They give you the kayaks and off you go. Had a lovely time thought. 2hrs is plenty of time unless your a hard core kayaker. So peaceful and worth the 26e. Cheapest in montenegro

I’m going to give this five stars as overall my family really enjoyed it. However I hope to help future bookers with some info which if we had before would have helped! 1. We booked this on trip advisor which then asked for information about weight and which cruise we were on. We weren’t on any cruise so this was confusing. We entered the weight but then the kayak company didn’t get that info so asked it to us again. Though I have no idea why. 2. Trip advisor booking suggested the start time of the tour was midnight which was obviously not. We had to contact the kayak company direct to find the and agree actual start time. It dopends on what other people are doing. They need ten people to run the trip. So if you book via trip advisor you get the phone number so contact them on that and away you go. 3. We had to meet at the Kotor town old gate but traffic and parking is nightmare so if you are coming by car the much better to meet at the beach where the kayaks launch! It is 500m walk as well from the old town to beach. I guess they meet in old town for people who are on cruises or staying in old town but if you are coming by car then ask to meet at beach. 4. This is not really a tour. It is more here are some kayaks get on with it. Our guide who just have been having a bad day to start with but became really nice later just jumped in his kayak and paddled away. 5. What you do is paddle from one beach to another beach which takes about 30 mins to hour . You then have a coffee at hotel next to beach, have a swim and then paddle back. 6. We had no idea what to take with us so I suggest go with swim costume/ clothes you want to get wet and say flips flops/crocs. Take a water bottle, suncream, phone, keys, snack which you can put in a dry bag they give you. Hope these hints help! It was great fun so don’t hesitate to book.

We booked a Kayak with Kayak Tours Kotor and really enjoyed it! It was all very spontaneous and unproblematic. We contacted Kayak Tours Kotor via WhatsApp in the evening before the Trip and they replied within half an hour to set everything up. Next day we could get the Kayak and equipment at a local beach - everything was ready for us. We really recommend!
