9 kanonnen die Hue-ambachtslieden wierpen in het tweede jaar van Gia Long (1803). Negen kanonnen worden beschouwd als een van de meest waardevolle bronzen kunstwerken. De oude negen kanonnen werden geplaatst aan de voet van de Keizerlijke Citadel, bij de ingang van de Ngo Mon Poort – de keizerlijke stad Hue. Tijdens het bewind van koning Khai Dinh werden ze verplaatst naar hun huidige positie.
Gebouwd in 1833 in de traditionele Vietnamese stijl onder het bewind van koning Minh Mang en gebruikt door de koningen voor troepenbewegingen en ceremonies.
Een architectonisch monument van de Nguyen-dynastie, gelegen in het midden van de zuidkant van de Hue-citadel in het Nam Chanh-fort, waar ook de vlag van het koninklijk hof hangt.
Dit paleis bevindt zich in het keizerlijke stadsgebied van de Hue-citadel, de kroningsplaats van 13 Nguyen-koningen van Gia Long tot Bao Dai. In feodale regimes werd dit paleis beschouwd als het centrum van het land.
Dit zijn negen bronzen urnen, gelegen voor de Mieu-tempel in de keizerlijke citadel van Hue. The Nine Peaks werd gebouwd in opdracht van keizer Minh Mang in de winter van 1835 en ingehuldigd op 1 maart 1837.
De Mieu ook wel The To Mieu genoemd, gebouwd in 1821 door de tweede koningen van de Nguyen-dynastie - Minh Mang. Dit is een tempel om 10 koningen van de Nguyen-dynastie te aanbidden.
In dit deel zullen we de residentie van de moeder van de keizer, de koninklijke bibliotheek, het koninklijke meer, de koninklijke tuin en het koninklijk theater bewonderen.
De Verboden Paarse Stad behoort tot een complex van de oude hoofdstad Hue, het centrum van het dagelijks leven van de koningen, hun koninginnen, minderjarige echtgenotes en cocubines van de keizers van Nguyen. De Verboden Stad bevindt zich achter het Thaise Hoa-paleis en werd voor het eerst gebouwd door koning Gia Long (1804). In het derde regeringsjaar van Minh Mang (1822) veranderde de koning de naam in Forbidden Purple City.

We had Thanh as our tour guide and she was incredible! This walking tour was the best way to see the Imperial city, we started at 7am to avoid the heat of the day. Thanh had incredible knowledge and such impressive language skills to be able to answer all of our questions, she didn't miss a detail, from the tiniest pieces of mosaic artwork to the large gates and thrown. Thanh told us about the history of Vietnam as well as the Kings of Hue and the impact of the wars on the city and buildings. We went around all of the important buildings in a logical way and didn't even notice the walking! We would highly recommend this tour, especially Thanh!
