Gabby was awesome! She was very easy to talk to, was excited about being with us and sharing her knowledge of NYC and its history. We would do this again and recommend it to anyone wanting to actually see cool things.

The Must See Manhattan tour with Gabi was amazing! She was very enthusiastic and the tour was informative and exciting. I had my mom and daughter with me to celebrate Mother’s Day and my daughter’s 12 birthday and this tour was the start of our weekend. I really appreciate Gabi answering all of our questions and engaging with my daughter. We will definitely book another tour when we return to NYC!

We arranged with Sarah and Stephanie a private , unique tour that met our requirements perfectly . This was a night tour - but not walking , We had a 2025 black Toyota Grand Highlander XLE with a moonroof — it was large, sleek black SUV where you could see the skyscrapers from all sides. We were collected at our hotel , by our fabulous tour guide Robert Zhu , part of Sarah’s team. He had so much knowledge, great stories to tell and supported with loads of additional information and photos on his iPad . The private tour covered all the things we wanted to see at night ✦ Times Square ✦ 5th Avenue ✦ Grand Central Terminal ✦ Rockefeller Center ✦ The Empire State Building ✦ 9/11 Memorial ✦ One World Trade Center ✦ Wall Street ✦ Charging Bull Statue ✦ Brooklyn Bridge ✦ Manhattan Bridge ✦ Williamsburg Bridge ✦ Statue of Liberty (from land) All of this from the comfort of a luxury car with an excellent driver . We arrange all of this on email after following Sarah’s vlogs - which are super helpful and inspired lots of our sight seeing . Once the details where agreed , payment made and Robert made contact ahead of collecting us . I must add they also kindly dropped us off at a dinner reservation at the end of the tour , with even history provided on that venue. It was a simply perfect evening I would highly recommend any of Sarah’s Funky Tour experiences or like us explore a personalised tour .

This was a WONDERFUL experience and Gary was awesome!!! Some in the group were scared of the 3 hour walk but Gary walked at our pace, took us on and explained the subway system to us, offered so much great history and information about the city and kept us laughing the whole time. Highly recommend this experience and Gary as the guide!!! Thank you again.

Just finished an amazing private tour with Ben. Ben is a wealth of knowledge and very personable. We had three ladies and three thirteen year old girls. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

This was the first time to NYC for my husband and 15 year old son, and it's also been a long time since I've been there. I wanted to book a tour and found Sarah's videos so helpful and entertaining, so I decided to use Funky Experiences. We booked a private tour, and I am so glad that we did. Our tour guide (Gary) was fantastic. He inquired about our interests prior to the tour to help him create a plan, and then made some changes to meet our interests while talking to and getting to know us during the tour. I could not recommend this company or our guide more. Whether you have 3 people or 10 people, you should absolutely book this tour. Even if you've been to NYC, I would recommend it because you will learn pieces of history that you are unlikely to learn elsewhere.

This being our first trip to NYC we wanted it to be more than just a basic tourist sightseeing trip, we wanted to learn about the history, explore interesting architecture, and experience off the beaten path places. That is exactly we we got with this trip. Since we were staying an entire week, we booked this tour for multiple days and that was the best decision. Our guide Sara was so knowledgable and made the day so interesting and fun. She even gave us recommendations for things to do on our own. We are looking forward to coming back again and will definitely take this tour again.
