De 3 uur durende haaienvisreis is een geweldige manier om vissen voor gezinnen te ervaren. Deze reis blijft in de kalme wateren van Calibogue Sound. We gaan vissen op stierhaaien, zwartpunthaaien en hamerhaaien. Naast vissen zijn er op het water genoeg bezienswaardigheden te zien. Terwijl we van en naar de visgronden reizen, moeten we uitkijken voor dolfijnen, pelikanen, blauwe reigers en Amerikaanse zilverreigers. Kom naar buiten en beproef uw geluk met haaienvissen, misschien vangt u er wel een!

This experience was well worth it. The crew was great and helpful and everything was in order. The current was high on that day and some sharks were still caught. My son happened to catch one and it made his trip to Hilton Head.
I was highly disappointed. We were taken to boat, told how to do it and just left to do it. We had several children with us who needed our help and rather than helping us they sat inside the boat. If we needed anything we had to holler for Jack to come help. We didn’t end up catching anything, only about three people did and rather than letting others see, feel/touch or even get a picture (other than the person who caught it) Jack made them throw it back into the water saying we couldn’t keep it out of the water for long. I just feel if our children had more of an opportunity to see/feel the shark they would have had more fun. And truthfully we saw more dolphins than we did Sharks. It truly was a boring time and a waste of our money in my opinion.
I am sorry you were dissapointed with the fishing trip. Jack, the mate, and the captain are always helping the customers so it is hard for them to be right next to you when you need assistance. That is why the captain instructs everyone to give them a shout when needing help, so they can come and assist. The mate has been given instructions that if a scalloped hammerhad is caught, and there were several caught on your trip, they are to be released as soon as possible to give them the best chance to survive. The are a threatened species and are very delicate so we will always try to get them back in the water as quickly as possible. Too long out of water and they die. I think putting them back in the water quickly is understandable. I am glad you saw dolphins. Anytime out on the water when dolphins are seen is always an occasion to be treasured.
Beautiful day for a shark fishing tour, and the weather was perfect. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations or what we had anticipated based on the TripAdvisor reviews. For a fishing tour where people are paying for the experience, I expected more involvement, instruction, and interaction from the captain and crew. We were hoping to learn, have fun, and feel more engaged in the experience. I say don’t waste your Money..
I'm sorry you feel like the crew didn't interact with you enough. Sometimes they get busy helping people with handling sharks or untangling lines. It can get hectic on some trips. I'm glad you had good weather and a beautiful day. Thanks for fishing with us.

This trip was a great value for 3 hours of fishing. Our boat caught two baby sharks and one stingray. The Captain and mate were very helpful and knowledgeable. An enjoyable afternoon.

The experience was so so. Only two sharks were caught between the whole group. I know it’s called fishing but I felt the captain and crew could have offered more in terms of targeting sharks. There was no discussion of strategy or patterns observed. Simply drop your line in and don’t move it. Hard to do with 10 lines to the left and right of you. That being said, we saw dolphins and enjoyed the ride. We will be doing a smaller charter next time with a focus on better timing or conditions.

Although we did not personally catch a shark, there were a couple people who did. One person even caught a Stingray. We did however, see a bunch of dolphins while boating to the fishing destination. I think next time we would charter a private fishing trip and fish a little longer. All in all, it was a good experience and worth the money paid.

Not one person caught a fish on the three hour ride
I am sorry that you didn't catch anything but fishing can be that way sometimes. I wish we could control how the sharks bite but unfortunately we can't. What we can control is taking the boat to where we usually catch sharks and hope that they bite. I hope you enjoyed the ride, the dolphins and the beautiful scenery along the way. This excursion was not what we expected. Not one single person on the boat caught anything. We did see dolphins, but that was about it. Boat stayed in one area for a very long time even though no one was catching anything.
I am sorry that you didn't catch anything. Fishing can be like that some days and it is unfortunate but it is fishing. I wish we could control how the sharks bite but we can't. The captain is always talking to other boats but the day you went out the other boats fishing in different spots weren't catching anything either. Sorry but I am glad you saw dolphins!
First time out shark fishing with my son. It was a good experience. The captain and first mate were helpful, laid bag, and really tried hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. We didn't catch many sharks, but it was fun nonetheless. Would recommend.
