3 - Stop Stingray City, Reef Snorkel & Starfish Point Tour

Ben je ooit op een catamaran geweest? Aan boord van de Buccaneer! Een mooie, comfortabele, stabiele en ontspannende 50 - voet zeilen CATAMARAN waar u zich geen zorgen hoeft te maken over ruwe golven en zeeziek worden. Leun achterover, laat de wind over je gezicht glijden en geniet van het uitzicht op de Caribische oceaan. Vink vakjes van je bucketlist af. Zie de pijlstaartroggen, snorkel in de Caribische wateren omringd door tropische vissen en misschien verrassende bezoeken van andere zeedieren, en bekijk heldere en mooie zeesters allemaal terwijl u ontspant in ondiep water langs een zandstrand.

Eerst verlaten we de jachthaven en gaan we de North Sound in op een 30 minuten durende trip naar onze 1e stop de Coral Garden / Barrière Reef. Eenmaal aangekomen, zullen we u voorzien van een masker, snorkel en vinnen indien gewenst en dan kunt u in het verfrissende water om de tropische vissen, pijlstaartroggen en geweldige Coral te bekijken.
Na het instappen op de boot gaan we richting onze volgende stop die ongeveer 10 minuten verderop ligt. Grand Cayman's beroemde Stingray City Sandbar is zeker iets om van je bucketlist af te vinken. Klim naar beneden op de zandbank omringd door tientallen prachtige en majestueuze pijlstaartroggen.
Nadat we pijlstaartroggenstad hebben verlaten gaan we richting onze laatste stop die ongeveer 12 minuten verderop ligt. U wandelt rond de prachtige Caribische wateren en bewondert de geweldige oranje zeester, maakt foto's en ontspant op het strand. Zodra we voor de laatste keer aan boord gaan, gaan we terug naar de jachthaven, een boottocht van 30 minuten.

Let op : Gratis pick-up is gereserveerd voor gasten van cruiseschepen en gasten op het eiland zonder een huurvoertuig en krijgt dienovereenkomstig prioriteit. Gasten met eigen vervoer worden verzocht zich direct naar de vertreklocatie te begeven. On-eiland pick-up is beschikbaar in het Seven Mile Beach hotel en appartement district op de vermelde locaties alleen. Als u met een cruiseschip aankomt, geef dan uw scheepsnaam op voor ophalen bij de terminal. ** Rijden :** Ga naar Safehaven Marina, parkeer op de eerste parkeerplaats aan de rechterkant en loop vervolgens naar het tweede tuinhuisje waar u het ACQUARIUS SEA TOURS-bord ziet. Gelieve 15 minuten voor uw tourtijd aanwezig te zijn om in te checken. ** Cruise gasten :** Ga naar de Royal Watler Terminal en zoek de witte tent met ons bord. Gelieve 30 minuten voor uw tourtijd aanwezig te zijn.

They cancelled our trip 20 minutes before we were supposed to leave. This happened the day before we were scheduled to leave to go home. Very disappointing
We understand your disappointment. All tours that day were cancelled due to high winds and rough seas. The safety of our guests and crew is always our top priority, especially with an infant onboard. The cancellation notice was sent well in advance of departure not 20 minutes before, and a FULL REFUND was issued. While it’s unfortunate the excursion was scheduled for the last day of your vacation, weather is beyond our control, and safety must always come first. We recommend booking tours earlier in your stay whenever possible, as Caribbean weather can be unpredictable.
We had a great time with this company. Everyone on the boat had a great time. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly and even helped those of us that were a little nervous with the stingrays. Definitely would recommend booking this excursion.

Crew was alright and trip was ok. The best part of the trip was the third stop. At Sting Ray City they take pictures of you and try to charge you crazy amounts to get them, so be prepared for this. Personally, I did not like the way the crew treated me.

Regarding the photos at Stingray City, purchasing them is completely optional, and guests are under no obligation to buy them.
Awesome experience! A must do for first time visitors to Grand Cayman. The crew was competent and friendly. Snorkeling was great. We saw turtles, starfish, stingrays and lots of colorful fish. My wife even got to kiss a stingray! This trip is money well spent.

A great day in the water and a great experience all day long. Crew was nice and didn’t rush us and the boat was not packed like others. We enjoyed every minute. A must do

The Cayman Islands were amazing! The water was perfectly clear and the snorkeling was some of the best we have ever had. The crew was welcoming and kind. They were especially helpful during snorkeling, guiding us, feeding the fish, and keeping us safe. Stingray City was the highlight for sure. The crew provided us with our own personal experience with the stingrays. They were very knowledgeable. I wasn't a fan of starfish point, but that was no fault of the crew. Overall, the crew made the trip amazing. The boat needs some work, but they made sure the actual excursion wasn’t crowded, only taking out half of what the boat would actually hold. I was super thankful for that. The other boats seemed to be super crowded. All in all, the excursion was nice. I am glad it was a Catamaran, which is hard to come by unless you do a private guided boat tour. I would definitely do it again.

Acquarius Sea Tours provided us a great experience on the open water during our stay at Grand Cayman Island. With less than ideal windy conditions, the crew made the best out of the day and we still saw starfish, stingrays, and lots of fish. My family and I had a blast. Hats off to the Buccaneer and crew!!!
