Er zijn drie hoofdactiviteiten tijdens deze dag vol avontuur: Rincon de la Vieja-wandeling, waterval en ontspannen met door vulkanen verwarmd thermaal water, stoom- en modderbaden. Het arrangement bevat ook een heerlijke traditionele lunch in het restaurant. Observeer de adembenemende natuur en dieren in het wild, ongelooflijke vulkanische activiteit en landschappelijke schoonheid in het Rincon de la Vieja Nationaal Park en ontdek unieke dieren in het wild! Geniet van een wandeling en neem een duik in het prachtige blauwe zwembad van de waterval. Bereid je daarna voor op deelname aan de warmwaterbronnen en ontspannende vulkanische modderbaden. Wandeling door het nationale park Met onze tweetalige natuurgids wandelt u 3,5 km over het cirkelvormige pad Las Pailas door het tropische woud om te genieten van het beste uitzicht op de vulkaan, de ongelooflijke natuur, vulkanische activiteit en dieren in het wild. Het park herbergt meer dan 300 soorten vogels en vele andere dieren, zoals gordeldieren, baaien, leguanen, neusberen en witkopapen, brulapen, slingerapen, toekans, kalkoenen en nog veel meer. Je stopt om de vulkanische activiteit te bekijken, waaronder borrelende modderpotten, fumarolen en een minikrater. De sector Las Pailas toont op spectaculaire wijze de kracht van de Rincon de la Vieja vulkaan, de meest actieve en grootste vulkaan in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Stoom en zwavel komen van natuurlijke fumarolen van de gele en roestige grond. Wees getuige van kleiemmers in verschillende tinten bruin met kokend vulkanisch water, fijne grijze vulkanische modderbubbels en explosies in grote emmers. Deze vulkaan is als geen ander in Costa Rica.
Geniet vervolgens van een wandeling door de Oropendola-waterval en neem een duik in het uitstekende blauwe zwembad. Bereid je daarna voor om deel te nemen aan de warmwaterbronnen en ontspannende vulkanische modderbaden. Het arrangement is ook inclusief een heerlijk lunchbuffet in Hacienda Guachipelin Restaurant.
Warmwaterbronnen en vulkanisch modderbad. Na de lunch wordt u naar de Hot Springs gereden. De warmwaterbronnen van Río Negro (Zwarte Rivier) worden omgeven door tropisch droog bos en beschikken over tien baden met thermaal water dat op natuurlijke wijze wordt verwarmd door de vulkaan Rincón de la Vieja. Het rustgevende mineraalwater is kristalhelder en geheel natuurlijk. Ontspan en geniet van luxe in onze geneeskrachtige wateren. U kunt ook ons vulkanische modderbad proberen, waar u vulkanische kleimodder op uw lichaam gladstrijkt!

Our driver Mr Grievin was very patient with our schedule there. He ensured our ride to and from there was comfy. We had a great time, the waterfalls and hot springs were amazing.

Faro Travel is great to work with and glad we booked them for this. Our driver w as timely, friendly and courteous. The hike is a bit longer than we expected (our watches said closer to 3 miles) with quite a bit of ups and downs so bring plenty of water. The guide was great making sure everyone got rest when needed. The hot springs are a great way to relax and unwind after the hike.
If you want to spend four hours in a junker taxi with no suspension in rush hour traffic, just to get to the tour starting point and back take this trip. In addition there were so many people on the tour you couldn't hear the guide talking if you wanted to. The tour operator could have cared less about the circumstances.
This was a must do ! We had such an awesome experience! The tour through the rain forest was incredible the waterfalls were breathtaking just being down in the rocks and the cold water was something I’ll never forget and the hot springs with the mud bath was truly amazing can’t believe how beautiful this whole experience was! From start to finish this was an excellent adventure and experience. We were picked up on time from our hotel -Riu Palace in Guanacaste. The car was clean and comfortable for the 1.15 min drive to the National Park. When we arrived at the check in location at the Hacienda Hotel we were greeted with warm smiles and information about our Tour. After a short while of re-hydrating and sun screening, we met our amazing guide SANTOS who took us via shuttle to the entrance of where we started our hike. He explained to us (me and my husband and teenage sons) that we would walk through and he would explain the wildlife, trees, fruits, etc. It was a breathtaking walk with so many incredible stops and photo ops along the way. SANTOS was so patient with our questions, and took the time to explain what we were seeing. The terrain was very clear (path) but it was uphill most of the way. Our group was able to keep up and manage, but good to know depending on activity level. SANTOS then took us to the Waterfall where we enjoyed a dreamlike plunge in the stone covered pool. The water felt so refreshing and invigorating after the hike. After our waterfall adventure, SANTOS departed to meet another group. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We then met back with our driver who accompanied us for an authentic hot lunch, and then to the HOT SPrings and Mud. We spent about an hour and a half relaxing in the pools and cooling off in the cooler river. What an amazing adventure full of memories that will last a lifetime! I wish i could give more than 5 stars!

Amazing experience. Starts with. A 2 hr 2 mile hike. (Intermediate level. Lots of elevation change. We saw tons of monkeys and birds. Different eco systems. Very cool. The. A breathtaking waterfall. Lunch Hot springs and mud bath. The wife and I loved it.

The guide we had on the nature hike and waterfall was excellent. We saw mud and hot springs around the volcano and got to swim in a secluded waterfall. Water was very cold but very therapeutic. We had a lunch buffet at the restaurant in the park and then went to the hot spring pools for more therapy. Wonderful Day!

Everything was amazing! This company is top notch. The nature guide was extremely knowledgeable. We were able to see so many interesting plants and animals. The volcano and waterfall were absolutely magnificent. The owner as well as the employees, were professional, friendly, and personalized the trip to make sure we had the best experience possible. Johnny was a fantastic tour guide for our hike pointing out different animals and plants. They provide a towel for swimming in the waterfall and hot springs so no need to pick your own. Waterfall water was about 68 degrees Fahrenheit so very cold but good way to cool off from the hike.
