Monument Valley is an awesome place and our 3 hour tour was great. Our guide, Joe, was super knowledgeable and made the experience so much better. I felt I was getting a history lesson on the Navajo as we went along. Highly recommend!!!! It was quite hot in August when we went but the vehicle was shaded and water was provided.
Wonderful experience, would recommend highly. This time Joseph was our guide and he was knowledgeable and friendly.
Bobby picked us up promptly and we were off... it was obviously from the start he was knowledgeable about the valley and well immersed in the Navajo culture. We recommend taking an 8 am for to beat the heat and the crowds... Bobby gave us plenty of time at all of the stops and was happy to talk about the experience on living in the area.. he also played his flute to demonstrate the echo in the rock formations.
Our local guide, Joe, was excellent. Full of historical information and very helpful with photography suggestions. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very engaging. He explained so much about the Navajo way of life past and present. He answered all of our questions. We were the only couple so it was a private tour, which we loved.
Moument Valley is beautiful. We had John for our guide and he couldn't have been better. He was very friendly and informative. I can't imagine driving through there without a guide. It was well worth the price that we paid. I recommend this company/
The tour was very very good. John, our guide, was most personable and took extra care to be sure each participant had the ultimate experience. The Valley is majestic and John took time to explain the different formations, Navajo believes and practices, history and lore of the Navajo Nation. We recommend both the tour and John as your guide.
Our guide was highly recommended! Thanks Joseph for the interesting tour. This tour is highly recommended. Do not drive yourself through monument valley if you are not used to riding uphill on dirt. You will take the tour to places you cannot go yourself. Joseph also helps to take nice pictures. He knows all the tips and tricks.
This was such a great tour. We had Joe as the driver and guide. He explained different parts of the Navajo culture both past and present. Helped us with camera angles and settings to get the best pictures. He was funny and knowledgeable. I took my older parents who stayed in the transport at the stops. Climbing the 2 step latter type steps was a little hard for them. Be careful on the rocks, with sand on the bottom of your shoes makes the rocks slippery, which Joe did warn us about. I would definitely take this tour again
The tour was very good, we drove around the 17 Mile drive and into private restricted area and told us about the sites we were seeing. Water was supposed to be included but we didn't get any, we might have if we asked for it but no one did. Finding the tour at the View Hotel was confusing because we didn't know the name of our tour other than Three Hour Monument Valley Tour but we needed the company name because there are many tours meeting at The View Hotel.
