Begin spannende 3 - dag, 2 - nacht safari naar Mikumi National Park vanuit Zanzibar, een combinatie van ferry en SGR trein reizen voor een schilderachtige en comfortabele reis. Op dag 1 neemt u de ochtendsnelle veerboot van Zanzibar naar Dar ES Salaam en stapt u aan boord van de SGR-trein voor een ontspannen rit richting Morogoro. Na een lunchstop in Doma dorp, vervolgt u de weg naar Mikumi, waar u een traditionele Maasai Boma bezoekt voordat u incheckt in uw lodge. Dag 2 bevat een volledige dag game drive in Mikumi, waar je olifanten, leeuwen, giraffen, zebra's, nijlpaarden en meer in hun natuurlijke habitat zult spotten. Geniet van een picknicklunch in het park en ga verder op verkenning voordat u terugkeert naar de lodge voor een overnachting. Op dag 3 vertrekt u vroeg naar Dar ES Salaam over de weg, waarna u aan boord gaat van de middagferry terug naar Zanzibar. Deze korte safari biedt een perfecte mix van cultuur, wilde dieren en reisavontuur – allemaal in slechts drie dagen.

I was initially skeptical when booking whether the price-performance ratio on this trip is okay. But I have to say that I was more than surprised. Abdul, our guide, contacted us even before picking us up from our Airbnb and accompanied us incredibly great for a whole three days. He always informed us about the next steps and read every wish from our eyes. During the safari we had a great driver (Juma) who formed a great team with Abdul. We got a lot of information about the animals and our wishes to stay longer or shorter with the individual animal groups was always fulfilled. We were able to specify the time we wanted to leave the park. Since I treated myself to this trip together with my daughter, for my birthday, I would have been happy if it had just been nice. Through this luxury of very personal accompaniment with great impressions and interesting conversations it was an overwhelming time. Snail(😉) and I thank Abdul wholeheartedly and can warmly recommend him. P S. Since it was recommended to make the trip with light luggage and we changed accommodation after the safari, our suitcases stayed in the agency office. I left my shillings in my suitcase when I packed them and was very pleased that they were still there. This honesty of Abdul's colleagues is also a huge plus for me.
