3-daagse tour naar Machu Picchu vanuit El Callao Port Lima

This was a bucket list trip. Had only 3 days and two nights from a cruise port layover. JD adventure travels handled all arrangements with a challenging itinerary and complicated transportation needs and connects. We just had to follow and allow our journey to unfold. Olenka our guide for 3 days was amazing, organized and attentive to anyone’s needs. This was a once in a lifetime adventure for us and it was effortless with how organized and prepared this tour was. I highly recommend this company and tour for anyone who wants to see Macchu Picchu in a limited timeframe and not have to deal with the hassle of making arrangements. The hotel, transport and restaurants were first class. Thanks for a memorable time. Plus there is a guarantee to get you back to the ship on time or in an unforeseen event they will get you to the next port. This gave me peace of mind that I would be fully taken care of.

Eduardo was a wonderful tour host. He kept us informed, kept us on time and made sure we enjoyed a full Cusco & Machu Picchu experience. We had a small group of 8 which made the trip move very smoothly. The time spent at Machu Picchu made all of the planes, trains and automobiles so much worth the trip. The only difficulty we had was that it would have been nice to have more details a few days ahead of the trip since Princess was giving us different information about tour operators ability to pickup at the Callou port.

Of course Cusco and Machu Picchu are good, but our guide Orenga was good. They are always attentive to the participants and flexible to our requests. It makes sense because it explains why you can't do it. It was trouble-free. Here is a guide I would recommend to everyone.

Machu Picchu was a long way away, but it was nice to go. But we had about 10 people in each group and I heard that they were guides who could speak Japanese, but I was disappointed that I didn’t understand much about the explanation. I wanted the guide to study Japanese properly and use Japanese that was easy for everyone to understand.

The staff was knowledgable about the site and Peru history. Had the transportation figured out so every stop was smooth. The housing was outstanding as we the lunch and dinner recommendations.

(Through Holland America). Of course Machu Picchu is awesome, beautiful, inspiring. Worth the pain! First, Callao is the pits, too bad snarled traffic showcases it. After the flight to Cusco, the city tour was very interesting. Great colonial buildings, and remains of the old Inca capital. Lack of oxygen (12,000 ft) slowed me down. Loved the alpaca farm, and special Peruvian dinner at hotel with folk dancers. Breakfast at 3.45am was a shock but good. Bus and train ride to Aguas C. was very beautiful. "Easy" tour of Machu P. nearly killed me - uneven stone steps, no handrails - but that's what ya gotta do!. Long journey back to Cusco. 4am breakfast next day (ugh) to fly to Lima and then 5hr bus ride down Peru's arid coastline to rejoin the ship at Pisco/ S. Martin. Expensive trip but the only way to see this Andean marvel from a cruise ship.
