Ontdek de Amazone-jungle van Iquitos met Curassow Amazon Lodge, ecolodge op 110 km (68 mijl), aan de oevers van de Yanayacu-rivier, een kleine zijrivier van de Amazone-rivier in het Tamshiyacu - Tahuayo-reservaat. Beschermd gebied dat een van de meest biodiverse ecosystemen in het hele Amazone-regenwoud herbergt. Je kunt de primaire jungle verkennen om primaten, zoogdieren, amfibieën, reptielen, vogels, geneeskrachtige planten, gigantische bomen en nog veel meer te observeren. Word wakker in het hart van de Peruaanse Amazone, omringd door de symfonische harmonie van wilde dieren. Onze 10 comfortabele privékamers hebben een badkamer met douche, ramen en deuren beschermd met muskietennetten, een balkon met hangmatten om te ontspannen en te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op het Amazonelandschap. De bungalows hebben 24 uur per dag elektriciteit, gezuiverd water, een ventilator en supersnelle WiFi, dat wil zeggen een hotel maar dan in de jungle van Iquitos.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Onze privéspeedboot vertrekt om 9.30 uur vanaf het Iquitos-dok. Daarom moet de reiziger een dag vóór of op de startdatum vóór 9.00 uur in Iquitos aankomen. Er is geen openbaar vervoer beschikbaar van Iquitos naar onze lodge. Op de laatste dag arriveert onze speedboot rond 16.00 uur in Iquitos, dus uw vlucht moet na 18.00 uur vertrekken. Als uw vluchtschema niet overeenkomt, neem dan contact met ons op, in de meeste gevallen kunnen we onze speedboot-dienstregelingen aanpassen.

This was an amazing tour! It far exceeded our expectations. The staff and our guide took excellent care of us and were very knowledgeable about all the things we saw. We would love to go back again!
The staff and facilities were 5 star. We had an amazing stay with lots of adventures in the Amazon. The food was so fresh and delicious. Highly Recommend The Curossow Lodge and its owned and managed by locals so the money goes back onto the local community.
Unforgettable experience—staying in the Amazon was truly magical! The lodge was simple but comfortable, the food fresh and delicious, and our guide Junior was extremely knowledgeable and showed us some incredible wildlife. We hadn’t expected a private guide, and it made the experience even more exciting and personal. A once-in-a-lifetime adventure that left us feeling deeply connected to nature.
Couldn’t imagine a better Amazon experience. The lodge was awesome, and our guide Miguel was even more incredible. 3 excursions each day, wonderful food, go!

Very good trip with this lodge. The people are very professionnal, they definitly know perfectly their jungle. So many animals, different activities (swimming, boat rode, fishing, walking...) they have only private guides so the groups are very small and the guide adjust the trip for you. For exemple we could add a unplanned morning walk with our guide :D thank you for your punctuality, professionnalism and your endless smiles !! We had a great guide (Freddy) who is also proposing private camping trip in the jungle (way more exposed and adventurus than the confort of this lodge !)
