Stone Town Tour is een tour waarbij je het hart van de Zanzibar-cultuur leert kennen en onze Zanzibar-levensstijl leert begrijpen. Als een belangrijke handelspost op de specerijen-, zijde- en slavenhandelsroutes gedurende meer dan een millennium, is Stone Town een unieke ontmoetingsplaats geweest, waar Afrikaanse, Indiase, Arabische en Europese culturen samenvloeien. Het is een van de weinige overgebleven oude steden in Afrika. Door zijn schoonheid en historische waarde heeft het een welverdiende plaats op de UNESCO-werelderfgoedlijst gekregen.

Onze gids begint met u informatie te geven over de stenen stad, waarna u uw rondleiding begint terwijl u voor het House of Wonder-gebouw loopt en hoogtepunten krijgt over de geschiedenis van het gebouw. het is ook bekend als Beit Al jaib.
We gaan naar het oude fort, dat ook bekend staat als Ngome Kongwe, we gaan het gebouw binnen en komen een paar minuten langs, de gids zal de geschiedenis van het Ngome Kongwe-gebouw uitleggen als de belangrijkste slavenhandelsmarkt door de geschiedenis.
We stoppen bij het huis waar de beroemde muzikant door de geschiedenis werd geboren, de naam van de muzikant is Freddie Mercury, de gids legt de interessante geschiedenis over zijn leven vooraan uit terwijl je foto's maakt buiten het gebouw van Freddie Mercury.
Na een bezoek aan de historische gebouwen, neemt de gids je mee voor een straatwandeling langs de Stone Town-straat en winkelbazaars, ook stop je bij de katholieke kerk en maak je foto's. Je gaat naar de Indiase deurstijl en later naar de Arabische deurstijl. De gids zal meer details over dit type Zanzibar-deur uitleggen terwijl je foto's maakt en langs de straten loopt.
Je gaat de Anglicaanse kathedraalkerk binnen bij het checkpoint, je gaat een kamer binnen met borden met belangrijke informatie over de geschiedenis van de slavenhandel, dan neemt de gids je mee naar de kamer van slaven en wordt je vervolgens naar de sculpturen van slaven gebracht .
De gids neemt je mee naar de beste winkels in de Darajani-bazaar tot Zanzibar-kruiden, die je interesseren, die je koopt zoals je mee naar huis wilt nemen.

Adam did a great Job. We saw a lot of Sansibar, the old and the new town with all the Sightseeing points. He explained it very well and answered all of our questions. After the Tour in Sansibar town he took us to a Spice Farm, where we learned a lot about all the plants here. The whole Tour was just for me and my Boyfriend, so that we could Plan the Tour individually. All in all a very good Tour with a very good Guide and not to expensive. Thanks to Adam.

Great guide, very friendly and worked around our children to ensure it was as memorable for them as for us. Adam took us to prison Island and Stone Town. He showed us around Prison Island and gave an excellent hands on experience of the turtles. He also worked with us to ensure we were able to get what we needed as souvenirs. It was perfect from beginning to end. Adam met us in Stone Town on time, we had a lovely tour in the old town and Prison Island. We booked a guided tour of Stone Town with Adrax Tour. We were warmly welcomed and first told something about the history of the city. Then the tour started. We started at the edge of Old Stone Town and then walked into the middle of it. Soon we were standing in front of the birthplace of Farrokh Bulsara...or Freddie Mercury. We walked through the narrow streets of old Stone Town and our guide explained interesting things to us. But it was not just a dry tour, we laughed together, puzzled and we felt very comfortable with our guide. We then visited the market in which it was very wild to and fro. Last we stopped in new Stone Town for a coffee and a fruit shake. My personal higliht was when I was allowed to join the local people for a round of their famous game (I don't remember what it's called). I was just put on a little chair and had to learn the rules myself, which was a lot of fun. We highly recommend Adrax Tour for a tour of Stone Town.
