Deze privémiddagzeiltocht van 2 uur brengt ons naar Port Royal Sound (over het algemeen de beste wind om op Hilton Head te zeilen) aan de noordkant van het eiland. Overdag is dit over het algemeen gevuld met opwindende wind voor geweldig zeilen, samen met het prachtige landschap en dieren in het wild zoals dolfijnen, vogels, pijlstaartrog en Manatee zijn enkele van de geweldige dingen die we op zeer regelmatige basis te zien krijgen. Dit is een monohull zeilboot, wat betekent dat hij zal genezen (helemaal normaal maar erg spannend - ontworpen om niet om te vallen!). Dit alles zonder het geluid van de motor op de achtergrond - we zeilen graag, niet motorzeilen!!! We willen dat onze gast zich zeer comfortabel voelt aan boord van ons schip dat bekend staat als "Knot the Office" en daarom kunnen we, als iemand zich ongemakkelijk voelt bij de genezing, de genezing aanzienlijk verminderen om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen zich op zijn gemak voelt. This was our second time with Anchors Away. We had a fantastic, relaxing time on the sail boat! Captain Paul, Dave, and Mikaela took great care of us and made sure we had a great experience! Good conversation and stories with the crew. We also saw a Manta Ray jumping out of the water. Thank you for a wonderful trip! We will definitely do it again the next time we're in town.

Master Captain Paul and David provided just an OUTSTANDING and fun-filled afternoon of sailing on Seas the Moment in Port Royal Sound for the three of us - plus the added bonus of learning first-hand about the local sea life around Hilton Head Island. The boat was immaculate and you can tell immediately that Paul takes great care and pride in it. We can't express what a wonderful and relaxing time that we had - especially enjoying the dolphin swimming playfully alongside the boat. This was our first experience using Anchors Aweigh Sailing Charters but can guarantee that it won't be our last! Thank you Paul and David for making it such a special day for our family.

This was supposed to be a sunset cruise, but the weather did not cooperate., Fortunately, Anchors Away got use a delightful sail in Port Royal Sound ahead of the weather.

Both Captains Andy and Paul were amazing and very knowledgeable. Our family enjoyed a perfect afternoon and got to see dolphins up close! The boat was stunning.

Our family had a great time this afternoon on a two hour dolphin watch sailing tour. We saw two pods of dolphins, one was diving for food. My 12 year old was particularly excited to see what she thought was a young dolphin. Captain Paul had great stories about local wildlife, and was knowledgable about their habits and behavior. He was clearly familiar with recent animal behaviorist studies, which my geeky homeschooled kiddos loved. My family had never been sailing, and were a bit nervous, but Captain Paul was on top of the weather forecast and demonstrated his experience with easy competence. Even though we had some pretty still moments in the water, we were well entertained with conversation, and my interested teens were able to help move the sails.

My husband and I have taken quite a few sailing charters in different places and this was our favorite one. The boat was gorgeous! Very comfortable and immaculately clean. Captain Paul and David were obvious experts at this and educated us on the scenery, animals, the weather and sailing. We had the treat of seeing a bald eagle fishing right beside us! Even the marina they’re in is quiet and well kept. Look no further if you’re looking to charter. Highly recommend. We definitely plan to do again next time we’re in town.

Captain Paul and First mate David did a great job. My wife, son, and two grandsons had a great time. We saw sea turtles, rays, and dolphins while sailing in Port Royal Sound.. Capatin Paul has a wealth of knowledge of the area. The boat was roomy and comfortable for the crew and six passengers. The kids got to steer and help handle the lines. They had a blast.
