Kom genieten van de "stad van honderd kerken" tijdens deze 2 uur durende wandeling. Deze magische stad Lucca is gebouwd in de stijl van een fort uit de 16e en 17e eeuw. In tegenstelling tot de meeste steden is Lucca een rustige en rustige plek, waar u kunt ontspannen tijdens uw tour. Beginnend bij Amphitheatre Square, leer je hoe het werd gebouwd op de ruïnes van een Romeinse arena, waardoor het zijn eivormige vorm kreeg. A fascinating and comprehensive tour of Lucca, a gem of Tuscany. Ilaria was very informative and anticipated the needs of our group on a very hot day, mixing in breaks for shade and drinks without breaking up the continuity of the tour - highly recommended!
While our guide was professional and polite, this tour was a shadow of other private tours we have taken in other cities. Usually on a private tour you have an enthusiastic and friendly guide who is excited to share information both historical and cultural. Our guide was very exact on the historical elements of the tour and covered the main things you need to see in Lucca but we could have easily read this information ourselves. We didn't feel like we had the "extra" experience you tend to have with a private tour and came away feeling that we would not recommend it to a friend. It would have been more fun to have an audio guide and walk it ourselves. Our guide did not seem to like her job very much which is a little unfortunate.

Lucca is full of art and Gilda tried to give you the best of the city, talking about art, history, lifestyle of the locals and food. After reading your comment I talked to Gilda. Lucca is lovely, and our guide was lovely as well! We saw so many things and learned a lot about the history of the town! The churches and walls were the most amazing!
