Join Watersports Now voor een 2 uur durende heldere kajak begeleide tour minuten van het centrum van Sarasota. Verken mangroven, zeegrasvelden en spot mogelijk dolfijnen, lamantijnen en zeevogels vanuit een kristalheldere kajak waarmee je recht naar beneden kunt kijken naar het zeeleven beneden. Wat te verwachten : Lancering vanaf Longboat Key bij Sarasota Peddelbaaien, mangrovetunnels en open water Leer meer over het lokale ecosysteem Deze peddel wordt aanbevolen voor gemiddelde tot gevorderde peddelaars of degenen die fysiek fit zijn. Gasten moeten comfortabel kunnen peddelen voor de duur van de tour. Een veiligheidsbriefing en door de kustwacht goedgekeurde reddingsvesten worden verstrekt, met tijd voor foto's onderweg. Kajakinfo : Onze clear tandem (2-zits) kajaks hebben een gecombineerde gewichtslimiet van 385 lb om een goede gewichtsverdeling en veiligheid te garanderen. Cameron and his wife (can’t remember for sure but I want to say Ashley) were wonderful guides and are very knowledgeable about the are as well as the wildlife. I’d highly recommend anyone visiting the area or from the area to book it! It’s well worth it!! Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback, Edward. At 9:42 PM the night before your 3:30 PM tour, we sent a weather warning message to let guests know we were actively monitoring storm conditions so guests could make alternate plans in advance if needed and avoid losing valuable vacation time. The tour was officially canceled the following day once conditions became clearly unsafe for kayaking. Sustained winds were around 15 mph with gusts over 20 mph, and combined with the tides, conditions were not safe for our guests or guides. Safety will always be our top priority. We understand cancellations can be disappointing, especially while on vacation, but we would never risk guest safety by operating in unsafe weather conditions.
No manatees but a lot of wild life and dolphin sighting. Staff was very educational so we learned a lot. Recommend!!

The leaders are super knowledgeable about the mangroves, and the wildlife. They were super pleasant, conscientious, and attended to everyone’s needs almost without having to ask. They did a great job of making all of the participants comfortable with what to expect. The water was gorgeous with plenty of wildlife to see. We would totally recommend it and do it again in the future.

Ashley and Cameron were fantastic guides. Knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. We didn’t see manatees but we saw a hermit crab and a sea turtle, plus lots of other wildlife. Definitely recommend doing this tour.

We had an excellent time with Cameron & Ashley on our Mangrove tour. We learned all about the wildlife and Mangrove trees. Our boys (ages 8 and 11) were engaged the entire time.
