Onder de massieve koperen koepel ontdek je de transformatie van de markt van een groothandel in vleeswaren tot een verzamelplek van wereldklasse. Terwijl we de North End insteken, geeft het aroma van geroosterde knoflook en vers brood uw aankomst in de oudste woonwijk van Boston aan. We sluiten je avontuur af op de Boston Public Market, een levendige overdekte hub die de ruige geest van de boeren in New England viert. Sean Delaney was an excellent tour guide and knows Boston history. He shared his knowledge with ease and had personal experience with the proprietors of the establishments we visited. We had a very congenial group on our tour and everyone enjoyed the food, the information shared, and the company. Great food choices. Pizza was the best I ever tasted. And as a New York resident that says a lot. Could have used a bit more history of the area. Guide/host was very accommodating and patient with our group which had several with walking difficulties.
