Ontdek La Fortuna met Eén met de natuur door de natuurlijke wonderen vanuit een ander perspectief te verkennen. Leer meer over het regenwoud en de interacties tussen de flora en fauna door een bezoek te brengen aan de hangende bruggen van Arenal. Dit 250 ha beschermde land stelt u in staat om het bos van alle niveaus te verkennen, van de grond op de verharde paden tot de boomtoppen op de 6 hangende bruggen. Deze wandeling duurt ongeveer 2 ½ uur en is geschikt voor alle leeftijden, zelfs voor mensen met een handicap die tot 50% van de paden kunnen genieten. De dag gaat verder met een bezoek aan El Mirador el silencio-paden, waar je over een lavastroom uit 1968 kunt lopen. Tijdens de eerste uitbarsting na een lange rustperiode ontwaakt Arenal op 29 juli 1968, waarbij een paar dorpen onderweg. Leer meer over de geschiedenis van de Arenal-vulkaan en de geografie van Costa Rica terwijl je de 68 lavastroom verkent. De lunch zou in een frisdrank zijn om de lokale economie te ondersteunen.

Excellent experience with a lot of learning and a little bit excited.
We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked. We met the tour guides at a church in town where we parked our car and got into a very nice van. Fernando was our driver and did an amazing job navigating the steep roads, he had the car ready to go and cooled after each stop, and he gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Mau was our nature guide and knew so much about the area. We saw a toucan, eyelash viper, howler monkeys, lizards, tarantulas, and many more creatures at the hanging bridges walk. We also learned a lot about the area and specifically the volcanoes. The volcano hike was a little more strenuous - but totally doable and we had a nice breeze. After the activities we had lunch at a soda where our food had been ordered and a table was reserved - which was nice because it was crowded. The food was traditional and delicious. The tour was so easy because they took care of everything -so we member had to think about making a plan or having the right change - plus it was informative and we had so much fun. I highly recommend.

My husband and I were very lucky to be the only people on our tour, so we had Marvin’s complete attention. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything we asked in regards to the wildlife and culture of Costa Rica. He was also an incredible spotter, finding almost invisible lizards and birds. The hike at Mirador del Silencio was great as well. The view was amazing and the weather was great. Finally we went to a local place for lunch El fogón de chela, where the food was fantastic. Sour guava juice is my new favorite flavor! This was a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend Marvin and One With Nature any day.
