Het paleis van de primaat is een van de mooiste classicistische gebouwen in Slowakije. Boven op het timpaan bevindt zich het wapen van kardinaal Jozef Batthyányi, de eerste bewoner van het paleis; een ijzeren model van zijn hoed, met een gewicht van 150 kg, bekroont het gebouw.

Amazing tour guide Nicole who was very patient when we went to the wrong meeting point! We were the only ones on the tour that morning so it was like a private tour and we felt really comfortable with Nicole chatting and she was so knowledgeable about the history of Bratislava.
