Dit park is wereldberoemd om zijn aanzienlijke populatie van Afrikaanse olifanten die kan worden gezien in kuddes van meer dan 100 individuen. Vooral de grote stierolifanten hebben enkele van de grootste slagtanden in het dierenrijk. ook te spotten zijn ruime kuddes Buffels, gnoes, zebra's, giraffen, impala's en wrattenzwijnen. Met al deze variëteiten ben je zeker van een gezonde populatie roofdieren die ook Amboseli thuis noemen. Leeuw, luipaarden, jachtluipaarden, jakhalzen en servalkatten zijn allemaal veelvuldig te zien in dit park.

I had the pleasure of being accompanied by an exceptional guide and driver during my stay in Kenya, especially at Amboseli National Park. Throughout the trip of 2 days, he was incredibly professional, always punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. He was not only reliable but also genuinely kind, thoughtful, and full of great advice that made the experience even more memorable. Quick heads up. The driver Calvin and guide Douglas we lovely and experienced. We had an awesome trip as we were picked promptly. The drive from Nairobi to amboseli was smooth and we checked in at our lodge kibo at noon. We were welcomed by lovely ladies in the lodge as we refreshed and had our lunch before the evening game drive. The lodge is beautiful and the staff are friendly. Our first game drive crowned it all as we saw all the big four( lion, leopard, buffalo and elephants) in just less than 2 hours. Our guides new the best spots to get the animals and had a lot of knowledge of wildlife. Mt Kilimanjaro was my dream, it was clear in the morning as we had the best view from our lodge before breakfast. I recommend this tour.
The trip was well organized,there was a clear and professional communication with the organization.we were picked from our hotel in nairobi at 8am in the morning.we drove for about 4hrs to the lodge in amboseli but we had a stop somewhere in the middle in a touristic souvenir shop which was nice as we used the bathroom and did buy some gifts. The park is really nice with plenty of wildlife which you can see from near by or through binoculars.the guide was very much knowledgeable with lots of experience of wildlife. The lodge was as well serene and beautiful with swimming pool and other amenities.I recommend this safari with caraluxe to anyone
Our 2 day safari to Amboseli was absolutely unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of animals like elephants, lions, cheetah, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos and many more. Our guide Douglas was exceptional, with amazing ability to spot animals as well as knowledge about the wildlife. The lodge was perfect with good meals and wifi that made me work easily while on safari. Every moment felt like new adventure,and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Likely to do it next time and highly recommend 100%.
