This tour exceeded all expectations! I would describe it as a highlight reel of everything to see on the south and west coast. The cost included pickup and drop off in Reykjavik and the biggest attraction along the way, Our guide Thorey was professional, knowledgeable, and has a deep love for her home country. She’s excellent driver and it was nice that we didn’t have to worry about logistics and coups arrive at our destination rested. The hotel accommodations were in a quiet, country village with great, locally sourced food. The only “problem” is that I must return to Iceland to experience all these sites again!

Thorey was an excellent guide. The fact that we were on her home turf made it extra special dinner conversation. Appreciated that she checked out some questions on day to day life (utilities, sewage landownership), and the last minute puffin viewing had everyone in the group excited

The scenery along the south coast of Iceland was absolutely breathtaking, and every place we visited was unique and beautiful. The glacier hike was one of the highlights of the tour. Walking on a glacier for about three hours was a truly special experience. I also really enjoyed Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, and all the other incredible places we visited. Christina shared many interesting stories and explained Iceland’s nature, history, and landscape clearly, which made the long journey both enjoyable and informative. She also adjusted the itinerary flexibly according to the weather conditions so that we could make the most of our trip. Thanks to her careful planning and excellent judgment, the tour became an even more wonderful experience. She was very well organised and always made sure that everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Her positive attitude, kindness, and excellent guidance made the whole tour even more memorable. This was one of the best tours I have ever joined, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland. Thank you again, Christina, for making this trip so special. I will definitely be back in Iceland in winter before too long!!!

It was a very satisfying 2 days tour! My guide David taught me a lot about Iceland's nature. The tour was packed, but the participants were smiling throughout and the atmosphere was very good, and everyone was able to have a great time by themselves, taking pictures of each other and talking together at dinner. It's great to be able to speak English, but if you can do a little bit of it, it'll be perfectly fine to go on the tour because it explains it slowly in easy to understand words. It was really fun to see everything you wanted to see - glacier trekking, Jökulsárlón, Black Diamond Beach. I asked David for advice outside of touring and he solved it...! I am so grateful to you all! Thank you. This tour made me love Iceland! If you ever come to Iceland again, I want to join this company tour♪

I had a fantastic experience with this 2-day bus tour with Nicetravel. Our guide, David, really made the trip feel unique and fun the whole time. He has been a guide for years and shared so many interesting stories and facts about Iceland’s volcanoes and glaciers, I felt like I received a good briefing on every major site during our journey. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious and helped me feel more excited about the experience. David also made a couple of extra stops for our group, sharing a couple of his personal favorite spots with us. Not only that, but David truly went above and beyond to make sure that all of his guests were well prepared and taken care of during the trip - he helped multiple people solve challenges that arose and genuinely made everyone’s well-being his priority. I can’t recommend David enough as a guide!! The other aspects of the tour were overall excellent too. The bus was comfortable, the restaurants where we ate had delicious food options (even for gluten-free diners like myself), and we had fairly frequent rest stops throughout the day to ensure bathroom breaks as needed. (95% of the locations we stopped at had restrooms available.) The hotel we stayed at was really nice and comfortable, and the included breakfast was wonderful with tons of options. We didn’t know ahead of time which specific hotel we would stay at, which wasn’t an issue really but would have been nice to know. I would highly recommend this tour if you have a few days in Iceland - it takes you a bit more off the beaten path than the Golden Circle (which was truly slammed with tourists in early July). The waterfalls, moss-covered lava fields, and mountain and glacier views are spectacular. The glacier hike was the highlight for sure! Our guides for this experience were knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on safety, walking us through putting on crampons step by step and making sure everyone was being safe. It’s amazing to get up close to a glacier! Thanks for the wonderful experience, Nicetravel and David!

My partner and I went on the 2-day South Coast tour in addition to the 1-day Golden Circle tour, total of 3 days with Nice Travel. We had Lori for the Golden Circle and David for the 2-day. Both guides were fantastic and well informed, but David experience and depth of knowledge was paramount to our enjoyment. Moreover, David’s banter on the bus was both funny and engaging creating a memorable and family-friendly environment for all. David also went above and beyond by retrieving my baggage from the office and dropping me off at a location outside the normal spots as well as for other participants who ran into scheduling snafus along the way. Lori was great at providing safety tips as we visited the most popular tourist spots on the Golden Circle. At any of the stops, there were lots of people, but it never felt like we didn’t have enough time to take in the sights or it was too crowded to get photos. Except for David’s “why not” extra waterfall that he took us to on the way back where anglers were pulling massive fish from the water—what an amazing opportunity for us all to see and with no one else around! All in all, my 3-day tour with Nice Travel was simply amazing. Not only will I highly recommend this company to others, I will consider them for my next Iceland trip—especially if I can get David again! The price was competitive and the add-on lagoon boat tour is a must, but it’s the staff that puts it into the upper tier of multi day guided tours. During my research Nice Travel was consistently one of the highest ranked tour companies and those rankings are undeniably true after the fact. Thank you Nice Travel for arranging such an amazing itinerary, and a big thank you to David for making my first trip to Iceland unforgettable!

It was a great summer two-day trip to Iceland's south coast! Nicola is an experienced driver and a knowledgeable guide who explains everything about Iceland's history, geology, biology and more. Her taste in music is fantastic too! Her humour and enthusiasm have added a lot of fun to us along the way. At the same time, she will arrange the best possible tour route for us depending on the day's weather changes, which is so sweet. The whole trip was a bit exhausting, but we enjoyed many breathtaking views, most memorable of all the glacial lakes in the extreme daytime sun and the glacier trekking experience. The vehicle we toured in was also comfortable and spacious, with usb charging ports and on-board WiFi. The room was very comfortable. What moved me the most was that after my Apple Watch unexpectedly lost, the Nice Travel staff were very patient and enthusiastic in getting it back for me and answering my many questions in a timely manner. This watch means a lot to me, and I am very grateful to these kind people.

I had an incredible time on this 2-day tour. Everything was seamless, the accommodations were comfortable and top-notch, and our driver was fantastic—their local knowledge and commentary truly made the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized and enriching experience!

Amazing experiences!! In two days you see beautiful scenery, walk on a glacier, ride a boat on a glacial lagoon, walk behind a waterfall, Iceland has it alll!

The whole trip was really amazing! I would definitely recommend it to all my fiends. We travel the south coast for 2 days with Adi. He knows his job well and has such a good sense of humour. I didn’t book the lagoon boat tour ahead and he tried to arrange that. And I think Adi personally paid for it because there was a lady celebrating her birthday and her seat was not with her husband. So Adi asked us to do the favour moving the seat and personally paid for this. Such a great person and fabulous guide! 👑👏 worth all the praises!! And the points of interest are quite good. I think I saw all the gems.
