Bülent was outstanding. Very good company, felt like a learned friend rather than a guide, interesting, well informed, highly entertaining, and worth every €. We would recommend him to anyone and will definitely be in touch when we return.

Bulent is 30 year guide and native of Istanbul. He knows the old city, the new city and the Asian side like the back of his hand. He knows the history of every historic site and every part of the city. We visited the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the castle as well as the Hippodrome. He got us to the head of all queues and explained each are in detail. He always gave us free time to explore on our own and yet stayed available for questions. He is highly knowledgeable and well respected among the guiding community. On several occasions other guides came up to say hi, exchange laughs and some times take selfies. He took us to the Asian side on day 2 and introduced us to a local delicacy at a family owned restaurant. We got extraordinary service from the owner who was of course a friend. He took us to hand woven silk and woolen rug merchant for demos and displays. Bulent has a masters degree in Turkish Rug history and added depth and details to the presentation. He is flexible and easily changed our tour to our wishes I would highly recommend Bulent for a fabulous tour of Istanbul. You will have an enjoyable and insightful day. Oh and he has a great sense of humor!

Bulent Aslan was my private Tour Guide during my 3 day stay in Istanbul. I had lived there back in the 50's when my Dad was stationed there as a US Army Advisor to the Turkish Army. I wanted to visit the place I used to live as well as relive some of my experiences as a 13 year old who had to travel over one hour each way from the Asian Side to the European side to make my way to an American School. Mr Bulent was the best in helping me relive my old memories. He was recommended by the Doubletree Hilton in Kadikoy where I stayed during my visit.
