Tijdens deze tweedaagse tour van 1 nacht vanaf de grens met Eilat bezoekt u Petra en Wadi Rum. Deze tour is geschikt voor diegenen die later op de dag op de eerste dag aankomen bij de grens en eerst Wadi Rum zullen bezoeken. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om te overnachten in Petra of Wadi Rum. Houd er rekening mee dat beide 02-opties met hetzelfde tarief (ofwel verblijf in Petra of in Wadi Rum in het geval van het 3 * hotel of Bedouin Camp), vertrek via Queen Alia Airport / Amman / King Hussein Bridge.

U arriveert tot maximaal 12.00 uur bij de Eilat-grens. U voltooit zelf de Israëlische kant van de grensovergang en steekt vervolgens de Jordaanse kant over waar u onze vertegenwoordiger zult ontmoeten die op u wacht met een bordje met uw naam erop. Je wordt 01 uur overgebracht naar Wadi Rum, ontmoet onze bedoeïenenvertegenwoordiger in Wadi Rum Village en geniet van de echte bedoeïenen gastvrijheid (bedoeïenenthee, koffie enz.). Geniet van het wildernisavontuur van een 4x4-jeeptour door Wadi Rum, in de voetsporen van Lawrence of Arabia, het beklimmen van zandduinen en rotsbruggen. Start de jeep-tour van 04-05 uur met onze Engels sprekende bedoeïen die uw chauffeur is. De sites die u gaat bezoeken zijn: Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon, Little Bridge, Um Frouth Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, Burdah Rock Bridge / Burdah Arch. Tijdens de tour geniet je van een lunchpakket. 01 uur kameelrijden is optioneel van Rum Village tot Lawrence Spring (10 JD / 15 USD per uur per kameel). Als je in Wadi Rum verblijft, word je 's nachts naar het bedoeïenenkamp gebracht. Bewonder de sterren aan de hemel en geniet van de legendarische gastvrijheid van de bedoeïenen met een traditioneel bbq-diner. Overnachting Bedoeïenenkamp met diner en ontbijt.
Ontbijt in het hotel of kamp. Vandaag gaan we naar de Nabatean Red Rose-stad Petra, een van de 7 wereldwonderen en een UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Deze fascinerende oude Nabateese hoofdstad domineerde lange tijd de Arabische handelsroutes en is een must see in het Midden-Oosten. Ontmoet je gids in het bezoekerscentrum en begin de mystieke site te verkennen tijdens een rondleiding van 03 uur. Je passeert de Siq, een smalle kloof waar je de eerste close views van de kleurrijke zandsteen krijgt, eindigend bij de prachtige Treasury. Loop langs de Street of Facades naar de Royal Tombs, het Theater en Qasr Al Bint. Vrije tijd in je eentje en loop dan dezelfde weg terug naar de toegangspoort. Lunch in een lokaal restaurant in Wadi Musa of je kunt ervoor kiezen om een lunchpakket te gebruiken als picknick op het terrein van Petra. Ontmoet je chauffeur opnieuw en breng je 03 uur naar Amman / Queen Alia Airport / King Hussein Bridge (Allenby) voor drop-off.

We had an amazing time in Jordan with a great tour organization. JHT organized pick up in Tel Aviv, border transfer to Jordan, Wadi Rum and Petra tour, as well us transfer from Aqaba to Amman airport for us. We travel a lot around the world, but those people made the time unforgettable for us. Highlight: We went out for a horse ride during sundown in Wadi Rum - a once in a life time experience. We had with Ali, a great and welcoming driver for all days and an adventerous day in Petra with Kamal the most entertaining guide ever. Really great was also communication with Mohammed, who was always reachebale for us in Jordan. JHT provided excellent service from the beginning to the end of our trip. It started with communications by emails and WhatsApp. All our questions and concerns were answered on time with clear and friendly clarifications. We met on the border on the Jordan side, and till the last moment in Jordan we felt that the company actually cares about our wellbeing, specifically: - communications with officials on the border were taken by company's representatives - experienced driver with a professional attitude drove us to Petra, to Wadi Rum, and back to the border. The car (spacious and comfortable sedan) had WiFi connection to Internet, and USB and socket chargers - we planned to use the backroad entry to Petra, but at the last moment this plan was changed because the backroad was not available due to maintenance work. Anyway, a high quality guide spent 6 hours with us making Petra walk memorable and enjoyable. - Wadi Rum Nights Luxury Camp gave us the best tent ( #11 ) with two beds. Normally only one bed option is available in stargazing ("bubble") tents. We were surprised by the tent's quality, especially by the modern shower and high water pressure . - good timing and impressive adventure on the second day in Wadi Rum with a Bedouin guide (8am-noon). We found that 4 hours is the optimal time for us to explore the Wadi Rum - met again with "our" driver, had a lunch in Wadi Rum (acceptable) - return to the border, met another JHT person who helped us to pass the border from Jordan side. Jordan Horizon Tours We used JHT in 2019 and again in 2021. To cross the border at Rabin , visit Petra and Wadi Ram , this time with our children . Their price was competitive, but more importantly their driver , guide and guide in Petra were highly professional and knowledgeable. You need to specify the level of dinner you want in Petra . Ours was so so . We will definitely use Horizon Tours again and reccomend them to our friends .
