Ervaar de wonderen van Griekenland tijdens deze unieke tour! Onze reis begint in Delphi, een van de belangrijkste archeologische vindplaatsen van Griekenland en een UNESCO-werelderfgoedmonument. Bewonder de oude ruïnes en dompel uzelf onder in de rijke geschiedenis van deze heilige plaats. Vervolgens reizen we naar de historische locatie Thermopylae. Breng een eerbetoon aan koning Leonidas van Sparta en zijn 300 krijgers terwijl we het betoverende monument bezoeken dat is gewijd aan hun heldhaftige strijd. Onze laatste stop is het adembenemende Meteora. Bekend als een van de mooiste regio's op het vasteland van Griekenland, zijn de hangende kloosters van Meteora werkelijk een lust voor het oog. Wees getuige van het verbluffende spel van licht op de rotsen, dat steeds veranderende stemmingen creëert. Op zonnige ochtenden glinsteren de rode dakpannen van de kloosters tegen de verweerde grijze rotsen, terwijl de late middagzon een gouden gloed over het landschap werpt. Je persoonlijke chauffeur / gids haalt je op en brengt je terug naar je hotel in Athene, en ontmoet je in de lobby. In het geval van een AirBnb-appartement neemt hij bij aankomst contact met u op zodat u hem kunt ontmoeten bij de ingang van het gebouw. Voor het ophalen van de luchthaven en de haven ontmoet uw chauffeur / gids u bij de gate met een bord met Ancient Greece Tours zodat u hem bij aankomst kunt spotten.

We went for a two day trip to Meteora to climb the rocks, to view the monasteries. Peter our guide was completely attentive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history. Peter made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

We had an amazing 2-day tour to Delphi and Meteora! Our driver, Yannis, was excellent — very professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Greek history. This was an amazing tour, especially with our ace guide, Yannis. If you are a history buff and like the detail, this is the trip for you. It is two long days, from about 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. the first day, and from 8: a.m. until 7:00 p.m. the second day. Yannis was great--he is an Ancient Greece history expert and very willing to share his knowledge. We were able to determine some of our itinerary for this trip, too. Great description of the Thermopylae battle and the Oracle of Delphi. Meteora was phenomenal. Very highly recommended. Ask for Yannis.

Our driver Yannis was fabulous - very knowledgable, excellent driver, great recommendations for restaurants, sites. AGT set us up with tour guides at Delphi and Meteora and they were superb, and also set us up with drivers to take us to our port and after the cruise to ATH.
