2 - Privétour Angkor Wat, klein, groot circuit & Banteay Srei

Op de eerste dag bezoeken we het grootste religieuze monument ter wereld, Angkor Wat-tempel. Daarna bezoeken we de tempel Ta Prohm of Tomb Raider. Het is er een met veel gigantische boomwortels boven de tempel. Na de lunch gaan we naar de Ta Nei-tempel voordat we naar de South Gate van Angkor Thom gaan, een van de meest fotografische plekken in Angkor Park. We zullen doorgaan naar Bayon, een 216-smilling gezicht tempel die in het centrum van Angkor Thom is. We bezoeken een aantal andere beroemde tempels in Angkor Thom. We komen langs om Baphuon, het terras van de olifanten en de melaatse koning te zien. Uiteindelijk gaan we naar de berg Phnom Bakhen en klimmen we naar de top om een prachtige zonsondergang te zien. Op de tweede dag zullen we een prachtige zonsopgang bij de Angkor Wat-tempel bekijken en het Big Circuit bezoeken, zoals Preah Khan - Sword-tempel, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon en Pre Rup-tempel. In de middag bezoeken we Banteay Srei of de Ladies Temple, gebouwd van een zeldzame roze zandsteen. Het staat bekend als de sieraden van Angkor.

Had a wonderful experience touring Angkor Wat with my tour guide Chhay and driver San. They were extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and professional throughout the entire time, which also included airport pickup/drop-off (a must given how far the new airport is from the city center). Got to see many ancient temples with Chhay’s deep historical knowledge making the experience memorable. We also stopped at great food spots along the way to sample the local Khmer cuisine. Overall, highly recommend Chhay and San and Happy Angkor Tours for your time in Angkor/Siem Reap!
Well complete in relation to the temples, guide with knowledge of history, knew the points for the best photos. The only point is that if you don't ask, don't do the whole script, don't say anything about sunset.
The experience is fantastic. Pal Saruon (the guide) and Mr. Hai (our driver) have been very kind the two days. We totally recomend to book this tour with them. Again, thank you Pal and Mr. Hai for your patience and attention to every detail.
Jimmy is a great guide. Sreang is a careful and reliable driver. We had a great time. Jimmy not only told us about the history/ culture of Cambodia / Angkor but also took us to the best photo spots over our two day trip. We visited a total of 18 temples of both Hindi and Buddha temples. Highly recommended.
We had a two day tour with Lonn Thou who took very good care of us. He was very knowledgeable and interesting, took us to lots of temples, told stories from the carvings and his historical knowledge was impressive. Would definitely recommend him.
Jimmy was an excellent guide: thorough, funny, and thoughtful. I recommend him highly. Sreang was also a fantastic driver, offering us cold towels and cold bottles of water after every temple visit. This covers a lot of ground (and a lot of temples) in a short amount of time, and Jimmy and Sreang always made sure we were comfortable.
We had an amazing two-day private tour with Happy Angkor Tours. Everything was extremely well organized and professional. Our guide Chhay was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the temples and history of Angkor, and his English was excellent. He really helped bring the sites to life for us. Our driver San provided incredible service and made us feel like VIPs the entire time. The car was always cool with the AC running when we returned, and he always had cold towels and water ready for us after walking around the temples in the heat. We would highly recommend Happy Angkor Tours, especially Chhay and San!
Simply amazing! This tour covered all of the key temples over a two day period. Our tour guide Niem was fantastic. From his knowledge of the construction of the temples to this religious and historical significance of the sites, we learned so much about the amazing buildings we saw! The pacing of the tour was great and we never felt rushed at any of the sites. Our driver was also great. Always ready to provide additional cold water and more importantly, cold towels! I can not recommend this tour enough!
21 & 22 February - We had an incredible 2-day private tour of Angkor Wat, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Chai, our guide, was exceptional—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about the history and culture of the temples. His explanations were detailed and engaging, making the entire experience both educational and fascinating. We explored the magnificent temples of the Angkor Wat complex at a comfortable pace, and Chai made sure we understood the historical context, symbolism, and stories behind each site. He was always patient with our questions and very attentive to our interests. His driver was also excellent—always punctual, courteous, and ensuring we had cold water and a comfortable ride between temples. Both Chai and his driver were extremely polite and professional throughout the two days. I highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It was well-organized, insightful, and truly unforgettable.
