Onze kleine groep (4 - 11 Gasten) vertrekt uit Melbourne en gaat direct naar de beroemde 12 Apostelen voordat de massa arriveert. Hier maken we een wandeling van 1 km langs de promenade terwijl we het prachtige uitzicht op de kalksteenstapels waarderen voordat we verder gaan naar Gibson Steps. We lopen over de 70m klifweg naar het strand waar genoeg tijd is om een aantal ongelooflijke foto's te maken. Vervolgens is het tijd voor een heerlijke lunch in ons favoriete lokale café voordat we door het magische Great Otway National Park rijden en een korte wandeling maken door eeuwenoude regenwouden naar een van de ongerepte watervallen van de Otways (waar de grote busmaatschappijen niet heen kunnen). Onze volgende stop maken we een wandeling tussen de reuzen van het bos bij de Californian Redwoods voordat we verder gaan langs de iconische Great Ocean Road en stoppen bij Apollo Bay voor een optioneel ijsje. Kennett River is de volgende waar je de kans krijgt om inheemse koala's, koningspapegaaien en kangoeroes te spotten die hun routines uitvoeren.

We maken een wandeling van 1 km door oude regenwouden naar de dromerige Beauchamp Falls.
We bezoeken de reuzen van het bos bij de Californische Redwoods
We stoppen bij de prachtige badplaats Apollo Bay voor een ijsje en een wandeling langs de ongerepte stranden.

Kennett River is de volgende plek waar je de kans krijgt om inheemse koala's, koningspapegaaien en kangoeroes over hun routines te zien.

You do need to have the ability to climb stairs that can be slippery because of the trail you will traverse. The tour guide is excellent…providing useful information and lots of opportunities to explore. He is also very personable making the tour very enjoyable
I booked the tour with Hike and Seek, and it was by far the best adventure I have ever done. Sure, the hike up and down the mountain was strenuous, but in the end, it was absolutely worth it. Reaching the top was a challenging, brave, and simultaneously liberating experience – simply a wonderful feeling of success. Kurtis was very friendly and made a great effort to share many historical stories with us. He was organized, punctual, and tried to answer all questions. Additionally, he was very interested in where we came from. I would recommend him as a guide anytime. The activity is definitely worth its price, and we made many stops to see different places. I particularly enjoyed the Great Ocean Road and the breathtaking views – simply beautiful. I come from Germany and was also lucky with the group – super nice and funny people. We had the best time ever with Jada! She took us on the most adventures tour we’ve ever taken in Australia. We got to see the 12 Apostles, strolled along Gibson Beach, walked through a rain forest to see a beautiful waterfall, and the amazing Redwood Forest in Australia. She was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and a very safe driver, especially on the winding dirt road.

Kurtis is a great host! He is charismatic and really makes it a point to connect with everyone in the group. This tour is a long day but worth it for all of the amazing sites as well as the little side stops for ice cream and seeing koalas and roos in the wild!
This was truly a well earned 5 star experience. Had a great day. Met some great people. Itinerary was perfect Kurtis was a fantastic guide - attentive, personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We went on roads and to places most Australians have never been.
