Nadat we alle gasten hebben verwelkomd, wandelen we door de smalle straatjes van de oude binnenstad, naar onze eerste stop : het meest iconische restaurant van Chania. Volledige sit-down Kretenzische maaltijd, Griekse ambachtelijke bieren en plezier wacht op ons!
Onze tweede stop is een delicatessenwinkel, waar we kwaliteitsproducten uit heel Griekenland proeven, zoals : honing, olijfolie, likeuren, notenboter en nog veel meer...
Bekijk de populaire bezienswaardigheden, verken de verborgen hoekjes en de oude stadsmuren en voel de unieke geschiedenisvibe, op weg naar onze laatste stop. Een gezellige café-pub, waar we een paar ambachtelijke bieren proeven, passend bij uw biervoorkeuren. De tour eindigt om 15:00, wat u ruim de tijd geeft om veilig terug te keren naar uw cruiseschip!

One of the most fun experiences we had in our time in the Greek islands (not just Chania)! Marie Claire was so personable and knowledgeable, and we had an amazing time trying all the beer and local food. Highly recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour while on a short cruise port day in Chania. Mary Claire met us promptly at the designated meeting spot which started a perfect few hours wandering the streets of town while discussing history of Crete and beer in Greece. At our first stop we ate a completely delicious lunch while tasting three local/Greek beers, followed by a nearby stop to taste local olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and spreads. After exploring the historic Venetian harbor, we tasted two beers at our final stop. This was an overall amazing experience which perfectly combined food, beer, and history. Mary Claire is an exceptional guide; she made an effort to learn our personal taste in and experience with beer and it truly felt that she tailored the experience to us. I cannot wait to tell friends and family of this experience and recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

Wow! Jillian thank you ever so much for sharing these kind words & appreciation for this tour! When designed this, we knew for some travellers on a short stay in Chania, there's simply not enough time to do it all. We focus right in on fresh Greek beers from microbreweries, delicious local dishes, tasting Greek products like olive oil, honey etc. -- because you didn't come all the way to Greece to follow a flag or a crowd. As someone who doesn’t often leave reviews, I thought this tour deserved one. This was a super fun experience. Mary Claire was very knowledgeable and showed a genuine interest in the world of beer, and the history of Chaina. We spent time at three locations trying a variety of Greek beer, food and olive oil. It was interesting walking through the narrow streets and learn about the various buildings and history with them as well. As an added bonus, MC was very positive, energetic and wanted to learn about why you love beer and are spending time on the tour. Highly recommend this tour. Oh, don’t forget to get your Fujifilm Polaroid picture.

Outstanding tour. Well curated selection of food and beer. Learned about various types of beer and how they differed. Visted multiple small restaurants away from main tourist traffic. Highly recommend.

My husband and I did Marie Claire’s beer tour with Bonnie and Clyde Urban Tours while in Chania on our honeymoon, and we had such a fun time. Marie Claire was super friendly and really knew her stuff about beer and the local brewing scene. The beers were delicious, and the food pairings gave us a real taste of Cretan culture. Definitely a must if you love beer and are in Chania!

Chania is a very nice clean town . Easy to get around. Our tour was a small group (6) so easy to get a personalized tour. Our guide was very informative. Would recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in the local beer.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! The guide was very knowledgeable. We got to taste great Greek food and beer. We were only in Chania for a few hours because we were on a cruise ship so this was a fantastic use of our time to see the Old Town in such a good way!

Great beer tour in Chania. B&C asked our beer tastes (i.e IPA's) Stellios took us to two locations to taste at least six differnt IPAs and gave us an informational tour of the Chania area. We stopped for some awesome tapas at a great restaurant in Crete. Strange Brew Brewery has some Rock & Roll roots considering it's name and beers called "Hay Joe" and "Jasmine" Very enjoyable! Don't miss it!
