The trip was a real experience. Uganda has invested a lot in wildlife protection, allowing us to visit the national parks and see many animals up close. The bureaucracy is a bit annoying. It started with the visa and continued with the visit to the national parks. Our German-speaking tour guide Ronald competently guided us through his country. We felt safe at all times. The people are very friendly and helpful despite the poverty and problems in the country. Land Range Safaris put together a beautiful itinerary for us. The selected lodges were very nice, except for the Sandton Hotel in Kasese. However, the Bush Lodge near Queen Elizabeth NP was an experience in itself. The absolute highlight was, of course, the visit to a gorilla family. We can absolutely recommend the travel company Range Land Safaris, and Ronald, not to be confused with our tour guide, was always available for questions via email beforehand.
