De boot van Classic Cruise vertrekt elke week vanaf ligplaats 3, Southgate, van woensdag tot en met zondag van 10.00 tot 45 uur en biedt cruises van 60 minuten, zowel stroomopwaarts als stroomafwaarts. Als je weinig tijd hebt is dit een geweldige manier om de Yarra in de stad Melbourne te ervaren. Stap aan boord en begin aan een reis aan boord van onze 100 jaar oude + klassieke ferry's (MV Grower gebouwd 1924 en SL Protector gebouwd in 1914 ) waar u wordt vervoerd naar een tijdperk van elegantie en charme. Bewonder de skyline van Melbourne en de steeds groter wordende waterkant badend in de gouden tinten bij zonsondergang, en geniet van de sensatie van het glijden onder historische bruggen. Uw avontuur omvat live commentaar, het toevoegen van een informatieve soundtrack aan het schilderachtige spektakel. Geniet van gastronomische hapjes van BYO en geniet van heerlijke wijnen terwijl u door het hart van de stad slentert. Dit is meer dan een cruise; het is een reis naar het verleden, een ontmoeting met de geschiedenis en een onvergetelijke cruise op de majestueuze waterweg van Melbourne.

Stroomafwaarts 30 min cruise reist door City skyline, SeaLife, Casino, Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Historic South Wharf (Bars Restaurants) Docklands Precinct met uitzicht op de haven van Melbourne en de schepen. Beide cruises stroomopwaarts en stroomafwaarts hebben een Captains commentaar. Reissnelheid aan boord is 5 knopen en alle kalme wateren binnen de Yarra River, dus volop fotomogelijkheden. Chill, quick, and affordable river cruise that gave us a great view of Melbourne. Hamish did a great job explaining the history of the bridges and sites along the river, and Woody (the dog and co-captain) made the trip even better

The cruise itself was very relaxing, and the Captain was really knowledgeable. Turned out to be quite an educational yet enjoyable boat ride. Also, it was a gorgeous boat that has apparently been kept in such a great condition. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Melbourne.
Easy to locate. We had a glorious day but inside seating if not so nice. Nicer boat than the big glass boats

Such a worthwhile activity to experience the city in a relaxing and splendid way! I have lived in Melbourne awhile prior to taking a cruise and this tour specifically felt like the best experience. The boast has so much character and Woody the deck dog was a special surprise. The views are just that much more elevated as you glide along. 11/10 👏🏼

Lovely boat one hour cruise was perfect with two small children. Commentary was kept minimal, highlighting the major points of interest. The seating arrangement was perfect for our large group allowing us to talk face to face rather than aisle seating. Definitely would recommend.
