1-uur Ocean Parasailing avontuur in Ocean City, MD

My husband and I tried this adventure as part of our 19th wedding anniversary celebration. We wanted something very different from our everyday, and I wanted to try it even though I am afraid of heights. We are both in the 2X-3X range and so I was not sure if they would let us do tandem, but they did. The crew was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were on the boat with two other families. Parking is tight so I would recommend a ride-share if you can't walk there. We got the photo package -- uploading a couple of pictures from it!

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a fun birthday experience ended up being extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. Honestly, the best part of the experience was when I was in the air and away from the staff. There were two male staff members, and one of them appeared to be under the influence (the one with the shirt on). The staff without a shirt on was cool. From the beginning, I felt singled out. He told me to put my phone away, while other guests in the same group were allowed to use theirs without being addressed. He even mentioned that the company had been sued before, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. I understand that there are safety rules, but I believe they should be communicated and enforced with everyone. It was my birthday, and I had other plans afterward that required me to respond to messages. Because I was told I could not use my phone, I missed important communication and ultimately had to cancel those plans. That was incredibly frustrating. I also felt that I was treated differently throughout the experience. One group brought a dog on the boat, and the staff went out of their way to make the dog comfortable, while I felt uncomfortable and constantly singled out. We arrived at the recommended time, yet we were left standing in the heat without shade for approximately 30 minutes before it was actually time to leave. I eventually sat in the shade, only to be told to move again because of where I was sitting. Even after the activity started, I was repeatedly told to move my seat back and forth while other guests were not being treated the same way. I followed the rules and made a genuine effort to remain calm and not let the situation ruin my birthday, but the experience felt unfair and unnecessary. The guy with the shirt on tried making jokes towards the end of the experience as if it was going to change the situation. Sounds like he gets away with this kind of behavior on the job like more than often, the way he tried persuading me as if nothing ever happened. I have participated in excursions in Jamaica and the Bahamas, and the customer service and hospitality I experienced there were much better. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling singled out and disrespected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews how staff interact with guests, because everyone deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and treated equally—especially when celebrating a special occasion.

Canceled on me the day I scheduled then rescheduled the next day then they called the next day and told me they had to take me earlier. I could not go earlier and never got a refund. Trash!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The coolest parasailing experience we could have possibly had! My 14-year-old son was pretty nervous before going up, but the two guys running our parasailing trip were absolutely awesome with him. They were very convincing 😂, but more importantly, they were reassuring, patient, kind, and made him feel completely comfortable. I’m so grateful they were the ones taking us out for his first parasailing experience. They were a great pair, super cool with the kids, and just made the entire experience fun from beginning to end. And they were right about one thing my son wasn’t quite convinced of beforehand: it really is incredibly peaceful up there. Once we were in the air, he relaxed and had an amazing time. Then somehow we hit the parasailing jackpot. While we were up in the air, we spotted an entire school of dolphins below us, easily 14 or more, swimming and jumping alongside us! As if seeing them from the sky wasn’t incredible enough, when we came back down and landed, the dolphins were swimming right past us. I’m pretty sure that has to qualify as one of the coolest parasailing landings of all time. 🐬😂 We could not believe our luck, and we definitely couldn’t have been happier to be those people who happened to be in the air at exactly the right moment. The guys also took amazing pictures for us, so we have the whole experience captured. Between calming my son’s nerves, making us laugh, treating the kids so well, and giving us an experience we’ll never forget, they absolutely made the trip. We would 100% parasail again, and when we do, we would only want to do it here. Hopefully we can even get the same two dudes again! Thank you guys for giving my son such a great first experience and giving both of us a memory we will be talking about for a very long time. ❤️🐬🪂 10/10 experience. My experience was FANTASTIC! The guides were fun and gave good instructions. Can't wait to do it again someday.

This was amazing because our guides were engaging and kind. They were funny as well. I highly recommend them.

Absolute blast. Worth every penny, got to see soo many dolphins!!!!!

This does not say anything about 21 and older. We planned our whole day around this trip just to be told about the 21 and older policy once we got there.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and very informative The only downside is the price for taking your photos if using there services. Its expensive. Have someone in your group take pictures and alternate.
