Geniet van deze dag tour van Varanasi de stad Varanasi vol geschiedenis; bezoek de Sarnath, de stad waar de Heer Boeddha zijn eerste preek gaf. Je bezoekt locaties zoals Sarnath , Bharat Mata-tempel en geniet van een boottocht op de Ganges

Je wordt om 4 uur 's ochtends opgehaald bij je hotel of waar dan ook in Delhi en naar de luchthaven New Delhi gebracht. De vlucht vertrekt om 06:20 uur naar Varanasi. Aankomst op 8am Airport in Varanasi Airport en rijd fris naar de stad Varanasi in een 4-5-sterrenhotel en ga verder voor een boottocht over de Ganges om de badende Ghats (of stappen van een rivieroever) en crematieplaatsen te zien. Je bezoekt de Bharat Mata-tempel met een enorme reliëfkaart van India uitgehouwen in marmer. Daarna bezoek je de Durga-tempel, Tulsi Manas Mandir, en geniet je van een riksja (driewieler) rit door de drukke straten en bazaars van Varanasi. Lunchpauze, lunch wordt verzorgd in lokale restaurants met airconditioning. Na de lunch bezoek je Sarnath, een zeer belangrijk bedevaartsoord voor boeddhisten, want dit is waar de Boeddha zijn eerste preek predikte na het bereiken van verlichting. De tempels van Sarnath en het bijbehorende archeologische museum zitten vol met boeddhistische kunst en schatten. Na Varanasi Sightseeing transfer naar Varanasi Airport en vlucht naar Delhi. Aankomst Delhi Airport en transfer naar uw hotel in Delhi om 22.00 uur.

I very much wanted to see Varanasi, but only had a day available. Vinay and his team made it happen; the sacred Ganges, the pilgrims on the riverfront ghats, the city backstreets. Vinay helped me understand the importance of Sarnath to Buddhist pilgrims. A very memorable day, if you're willing to make an early start and get back to Delhi fairly late. Be sure to check with the tour organizers early, as the Delhi-Varanasi flight schedules seem to vary -
