Je tour neemt je mee naar de beroemde Taj Mahal van India in Agra. Eerst bezoeken we de wereldberoemde Taj Mahal. Een reis naar Agra zou niet compleet zijn zonder een bezoek aan dit glinsterende visioen van koepels en minaretten. Na de Taj Mahal, bezoek je het fort van Agra dat werd gebouwd door keizer Akbar in 1565 na Christus. Je zult genieten van de schoonheid van dit enorme fort dat is gemaakt van rode zandsteen.

Je wordt om 07:00 uur opgehaald bij het hotel of ergens in Delhi en geniet van een schilderachtige rit van 3 uur naar de snelweg Agra by Yamuna. Rond 10.00 uur - U bereikt Agra, u hebt een paar minuten om u op te frissen bij aankomst in Agra en wordt geadviseerd door uw gids voor de vergadering in het hotel, waar u zich verfrist en uw sightseeing voortzet.
Je zet je Agra-sightseeing voort terwijl je de Taj Mahal bezoekt (een UNESCO-werelderfgoed). Een reis naar Agra zou niet compleet zijn zonder een bezoek aan deze glinsterende visie op koepels en minaretten. Het bekendste graf ter wereld getuigt van het tijdloze liefdesverhaal van de 17e-eeuwse Mughal-keizer, Shah Jahan en zijn vrouw - koningin Mumtaz Mahal.
Lunchpauze, je stopt voor de lunch die wordt verzorgd in het beste restaurant.
Na de lunch bezoeken we het imposante Agra-fort (een UNESCO-werelderfgoed). Gebouwd door keizer Akbar in 1565 na Christus, is dit enorme fort gemaakt van rode zandsteen. Het doolhof van de binnenplaatsen, moskeeën en privékamers van het fort weerspiegelen het verhaal van het Mughal-rijk.
Geniet van wat winkelen in Agra die bekend staat om zijn fantastische handwerk, gemaakt van marmer en zachtsteen inlegwerk. De belangrijkste ambachtelijke producten van Agra naast inlegwerk zijn: lederwaren, koperwerk, tapijten, sieraden en borduurwerk. De Mughals waren geweldige beschermheren van kunst en handwerk. Keizerin Nur Jahan trok persoonlijke belangstelling en was zelf ook een volleerd kunstenaar in zari-borduurwerk.
Na sightseeing in Agra wordt u teruggereden naar Delhi en afgezet bij uw hotel, luchthaven of waar dan ook in Delhi.

5 star experience from start to finish, from pick up/welcome by Madan, to the history/tour and photos by Rajni Kant, and organization by the tour company! I can’t recommend this enough, especially as a solo female tourist! I felt safe every minute of the experience.

We had an incredible experience in Agra, thanks to our amazing driver, KK, who was professional, personable, and maintained a spotless car. The tour started by an early pick up from the hotel to the railway station. The driver was on time. Sunil, the representative, was waiting for us at the station to guide us to our train seats. At Agra, a car with the professional guide, Rocky, was waiting. Rocky did an excellent job explaining interesting history of both the Taj and the Fort. The day ended by a hearty lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to a hand knotted carpet showroom before catching the super fast train back to Delhi where Sunil was waiting to take us back to the hotel.The trip to the Taj and Agra fort was a great experience for me and my family thanks to the great management of the young enthusiastic owner, Puneet Sharma, every thing was just right.

The tour of Taj Mahal was very impressive and I could not believe that I was actual standing right at the spot. Mr Vijay Chauhan, our tour guide, was very friendly, well informed and always has a smiling face. By the way, Mr Vijay is also a very good photographer too. Our driver, Mr Anil, is very good in driving skill and always has patience whenever we have some questions. Vijay Chauhan is a best tour guide we meet in our Agra and Taj Mahal tour experience. His well explanation lead us more understanding the history and structure of Taj Mahal.
