5 goede redenen om mee te gaan op deze geweldige safari: 1) Wij zijn een klein en uitstekend door de eigenaar geleid familiebedrijf. Onze gasten waarderen onze familiale aanpak en service. We zijn hier opgegroeid en hebben een nauw netwerk en kennen de juiste man voor elke zorg van onze gasten. U bent bij ons in absoluut veilige handen. 2) Goede lunchpauze: we kennen de behoeften van onze gasten. We lunchen samen in een van de weinige luxe lodges. Daar kun je je opfrissen en gebruik maken van de toiletten. 3) Dicht bij de stad: hoewel Arusha NP slechts ongeveer 1 uur rijden van Arusha ligt, is het een beetje een geheime tip en daarom niet overvol. 4) Verscheidenheid aan flora en fauna: Arusha NP herbergt een indrukwekkende verscheidenheid aan dier- en plantensoorten zoals zebra's, antilopen, giraffen en apen. Een aantal zeldzame en bedreigde diersoorten zijn hier ook thuis. 5) Natuurschoon: Arusha NP staat bekend om zijn adembenemende landschappen. Het park biedt een spectaculair uitzicht op de beroemde Kilimanjaro en Mount Meru.

SAFARI BIJ HET NATIONALE PARK VAN ARUSHA We rijden in een Toyota Land Cruiser met safaridak ongeveer 1 uur naar Arusha National Park, prachtig gelegen tussen de toppen van Mount Meru en Mount Kilimanjaro. Het maakt indruk met spectaculaire landschappen en een rijke flora en fauna. Het Arusha National Park kan gemakkelijk worden verkend tijdens een dagtocht. Zelfs tijdens een korte safari is in dit charmante park een divers spectrum aan dier- en plantensoorten te bewonderen, weg van de grote bezoekersmassa's. Bovendien kun je hier door de mogelijkheid tot dagtochten ook een vrij goedkope safari beleven. Van schaduw- en bosplanten tot tropische palmen en alpine hooglandvegetatie, er is veel te ontdekken in Arusha National Park. Er zijn al 400 verschillende vogelsoorten waargenomen, waaronder veel watervogels, trekvogels en inheemse soorten. Soms verzamelen zich ook duizenden flamingo's bij de meren. En steeds weer zie je zwart-witte stompapen in de bomen.

De rondleiding begint elke maandag om 7.30 uur met een klein ontbijt in het café naast ons hoofdkantoor. Of je komt rechtstreeks naar ons toe of we halen je op bij je hotel of een andere plaats in en rond Arusha. Laat het ons gewoon weten.

We were recommended this company and it did not disappoint! You drive deep up into the mountains and take in all of the breathtaking views while smelling the fresh air. The Maasai tribe welcomes you with a dance and then a tour of their village. After that you enter the Ngorongoro crater where you see all of the animals. Not only is the scenery around you magnificent but the up close views of the animals a lifetime experience. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience, from the animals to the landscape. As it is a one day tour, the time for exploration is compressed, but Andrew ensured we made the most of it. The animal tracking was excellent - I feel that I saw the major highlights of the park - and the guides provided the information and context about the observed behaviors and scenes that maximized the moments. Also, Andrew was also really helpful and very communicative on the logistical side of things leading up to the trip which especially helps when time is short! High recommended day trip!

We had a great experience with Jackpot safari. You make a safari plan together with Andrew taking your wishes in to a count. He is very experienced guide who knows all ins and outs about the safari parks. Fair pricing. We stayed in the Baobab luxury. Well organized, hygienic and beautiful rooms, located on wonderful spots in the safari parks. We would definitely recommend Jackpot safari and would work together with Andrew again.
