Het Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is een wereldberoemd natuurwonder in de Chinese provincie Hunan. Het is vooral bekend om zijn adembenemende pilaarachtige landschap dat de inspiratie vormde voor de drijvende "Hallelujah Mountains" in de blockbusterfilm Avatar.
Neem Bailong Lift naar beneden, Bailong Lift is de hoogste en snelste sightseeing lift ter wereld en biedt een spectaculair uitzicht op het zandsteen piek bos. Het heeft een hoogte van 326 meter en kan 3000 mensen per uur vervoeren in de drie transparante liften. Het duurt slechts 1,5 minuten om de berg af te komen.
Als de meest populaire attractie in het park, is Yuanjiajie ook bekend als " AVATAR Mountain" omdat het de filmlocatie is voor de film AVATR. Neem tijdens de spannende wandeling een goede voorbereiding om een benijdenswaardige blik te werpen op de South Sky Pillar van ongeveer 150 meter hoog, het authentieke prototype dat de Avatar Hallelujah Mountain inspireert; geniet van het beste landschap bij Enchanting Platform met tientallen en honderden prachtige stenen pieken vergelijkbaar met veel voedzame bamboescheuten die uit de grond torenen.
De Tianziberg is een mesa in het noordwesten van Wulingyuan. Boven op de mesa is het gezichtsveld wijd opengesteld en het is een perfecte locatie om een panoramisch uitzicht over het natuurgebied te hebben, te genieten van Helong Park, de Westzee enzovoort. Neem de Tianzi kabelbaan naar beneden.

Amy was fantastic. She was so sweet and accommodating. Her English was great but we ended up doing a good portion of the tour in Chinese, giving us a chance to practice. Whatever we didn’t understand Amy translated into English for us. She gave us plenty of information on the Avatar mountains and took us to all the best viewing spots. She also made sure we got front row to the Bailong elevator and always told us which side of the shuttle bus to sit on for the best views. Amy was very sweet and engaging with my 12 year old daughter, which I appreciated, and she was accommodating whenever we wanted to stop to shop or get any snacks. Amy made the day momentous and easy. Make sure you book this tour and ask for Amy!

Very well organized experience. Coco, our guide, helped us to organize the entire day accommodating all our requests even outside the tour description. I recently booked a one-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Park, but since I had only one day in ZJJ, I wanted to include Tianmen Mountain and the cave as well. Andy promptly responded to my request and customised the tour to fit my needs perfectly. I was conveniently picked up and dropped off at my hotel, which made the experience seamless. My guide, Winnie, was absolutely fantastic! Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and she truly understood my desire to make the most of our day. She provided just the right amount of information about each site without overwhelming me. I highly recommend the VIP express pass for Tianmen Mountain—it was definitely worth the extra 100 Yuan, as the standard line was about three hours long! We enjoyed a delicious local lunch in the mountains, and Winnie was generous enough to share snacks and water that she had brought along. Her English was excellent, and we shared many laughs throughout the day, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Thanks to Winnie, my visit to Zhangjiajie was incredibly special.
