We beginnen ons Mongolië reizen vanuit het kantoor van Enza Tours LLC. Voordat we beginnen met onze gids en lokale chauffeur zal ze introduceren. We rijden naar het nationale park Khustai, een plek voor wilde dieren. Het meest interessante is om te kijken naar wild paard "Takhi", dat werd ontdekt door de arts Prezwalski in 1933. Takhi was bijna uitgestorven, maar mensen rehabiliteerden dit wezen in de natuur. We zullen in dit gebied dieren ontdekken zoals wolven, marmotten, wilde schapen en herten. Ons doel zal zijn om een familie van wilde paarden, inclusief hun baby's, te laten afstammen. Daarna zullen we wat wandelen door de ongerepte natuur, het soort flora en we raden je aan om je camera mee te nemen om mooie landschappenfoto's te maken. Uiteindelijk rijden we terug naar de stad Ulaanbaatar. In de stad kun je met je gids uitgaan om de stad te verkennen en samen Mongools dineren.

Great company, great tour guide, great driver Highly recommended. We really had a wonderful day on this tour
One day at Khustai is probably not enough as half the time is spend driving from/to UB; go for 2 days if you have the time. But as a taster, this is a good tour. The park is beautiful and I had a good view of wild horses and an eagle. There is also an hour-long horse ride so you can channel your inner nomad. My guide Ichko (Coco) and driver Ganaa were both very good.

This 1 day tour from Ulaan Baatar is a nice introduction to this vast national park. The guide was great at finding the horses - which during our tour where high up in the hills and could only be seen with binoculars (provided by the tour guide). We did a short walk, but primarily drove to find the horses. We also saw ground squirrels, marmots, and a few hawks. We walked on sand dunes. The park is huge and for nature lovers, it would make an interesting 3-4 day trip. There are ghers at the park entrance and one can stay there overnight. The lunch was at the park entrance and very tasty. A horseback ride was supposed to be included in the tour, but since we booked the tour only the night before, we did not have time to fit it into the schedule. Actually spending more time in the park was more interesting.
