We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, and we are happy to acknowledge that the driver arriving a few minutes later than scheduled was not ideal. While traffic and delays can occasionally occur, we understand that punctuality is important to our guests. However, we would like to clarify several points in this review, as a number of the statements do not reflect what actually occurred during the tour. Our tours are designed to be flexible, and when there is a possibility of stopping and walking to a viewpoint, our drivers always ask guests beforehand whether they would like to do so. In this case, John specifically explained the short walk to the viewpoint and the guests seemed delighted to do so. The walk was approximately 50 metres, mostly flat, with only around 15 metres of slight uphill walking. This was the only walking stop during the tour, not two separate locations requiring challenging terrain, stairs, or significant walking. Had the guests indicated in any way that they preferred to remain in the car, John would of course have followed that request. We are also concerned by the comments regarding John's communication. John is one of our most experienced drivers and is regularly praised by guests for his English-speaking and communication skills. He does use his microphone at all times, and when the guests indicated that he was speaking too quickly, he acknowledged this and made an effort to slow his speech. We therefore do not recognize the description of the tour as being conducted without a microphone or in a mixture of English and Czech. Similarly, the description of John's driving does not correspond with our experience of him as a professional driver. He is highly experienced and we have not previously received complaints about him driving in the manner described. The vintage vehicle is mechanically very different from a modern car, and Prague's historic centre contains many uneven cobblestone roads. Some movement and vibration are therefore unavoidable and can be particularly noticeable in a vintage convertible. Claims that the vehicle was being driven dangerously, excessively fast, or aggressively through traffic are not consistent with the nature the narrow historic streets in which we operate, or the vehicles mechanical properties - it is impossible for the car to go fast. We fully understand that not every experience will meet every guest's expectations, and we are always willing to accept constructive criticism where something genuinely went wrong. However, we also believe it is important to provide an accurate account when a review contains statements that do not correspond with what occurred. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations, but based on the circumstances described above, we do not agree that the experience was conducted as portrayed in this review, nor do we believe that a refund is warranted.
