Lahore Rickshaw & Heritage Trail Tours
The Walled City lanes are too narrow for a car and too long to walk in the heat, which is exactly what a rickshaw is for. Guided rickshaw tours run the Shahi Guzargah from Delhi Gate past the Wazir Khan Mosque and the havelis to the fort, stopping wherever the guide decides you should look up.

Rickshaw Tours in Lahore — Veelgestelde vragen
What is a rickshaw tour of Lahore like?
A guided run through the Walled City in an auto-rickshaw with stops at the Wazir Khan Mosque, the restored havelis and the bazaars. They cost around €99 and last three to four hours — faster and cooler than walking the same route.
Is a rickshaw tour better than walking in Lahore?
In summer, yes — the old city hits 40°C and the distances add up. In winter a walking tour lets you linger longer in the bazaars. Several operators combine the two, riding out and walking back.
What is the Shahi Guzargah?
The Royal Trail — the ceremonial route Mughal processions took from Delhi Gate to the fort. It has been restored over the last decade, with facades returned to their original brick and tile, and is now the spine of most Walled City tours.
