Iniziamo il tour con un breve giro in funicolare. La Polybahn ci porta in soli tre minuti da Central alla terrazza panoramica davanti all'edificio principale del Politecnico federale. Ci godremo una crociera di 45 minuti sul Lago di Zurigo e parleremo del cioccolato passando per la vicina fabbrica di cioccolato Lindt e ammireremo una delle zone più costose del Lago di Zurigo, dove vivono celebrità come Tina Turner.
Dopo il tour a piedi della città, continueremo con un viaggio verso la piccola montagna locale Uetliberg o Felsenegg per provare un breve viaggio in funivia O in treno e godere di panorami mozzafiato. Questa è una popolare area ricreativa per la gente del posto che vive a Zurigo e dintorni e offre viste incredibili su Zurigo, sul lago e sulle Alpi innevate. Vivremo una breve escursione su un sentiero speciale chiamato "Planetweg" che rappresenta il nostro sistema solare in scala ridotta e godremo dell'aria fresca della bellissima foresta prima di tornare a Zurigo in barca.
Uetliberg - "The Top of Zurich" è l'alternativa per Felsenegg, nel caso in cui le condizioni meteorologiche non lo permettano o se la funivia non è in funzione per manutenzione tecnica.

Long day but well worth it if you want to see the best of Zürich on a short trip Gregg was fantastic very funny and just got the balance of talking and walking just right Great value for money
Our guide was amazing but more walking than anticipated. Could have used an hour for lunch instead of a half hour. Also, being stuffed in the cable car was not great. It was worth the money and again our guide was very good.

That said, we’re slightly puzzled by the complaint about the amount of walking. What exactly do you expect on a 5+ hour WALKING TOUR? 😄 Walking is, rather unsurprisingly, a fairly important feature of a walking tour. As for lunch, if you’re more interested in spending an hour enjoying lunch than exploring Zurich, perhaps a relaxing day on a terrace with an Aperol Spritz would have been the better choice. We’re just wondering why you bothered to book a walking tour in the first place. 😉 Regarding the cable car, unfortunately, we don’t make the rules. There is a specific maximum number of passengers permitted in each cabin, and we have absolutely no control over that. When you book a group tour, you travel with the group — that’s rather the point of a group tour. For your next visit, we warmly recommend booking a private tour. That way, you can customize exactly how much walking you would like to do, how long your lunch should be, and, of course, how many cable cars you’d like to skip until you finally find one with nobody else in it. 😄 Nevertheless, we’re happy that you enjoyed the views, found the tour worth the money, and especially appreciated your guide. Those are, after all, the main reasons people book an experience like this.
Guide and company were no shows, they came up with an elaborate story that we missed the guide when 6 of us were in the exact location they told us to be. They then had us running around Zurich for an hour and a half to meet their imaginary guide and tour group at three different locations, and surprise they were never at any of those places. Just terrible business all around especially to try to place the blame on 4 different groups of customers that all had the same experience that it was somehow our fault. I got fooled by the positive reviews in booking this tour, beware of this company!

Excellent overview of Zurich and Swiss culture. Guide was knowledgeable on history and culture. Walking through Old Town, the lake cruise and the tram ride offered nice variety. Side tip: check out the river swim in the Limmat River
Vasi was an excellent guide who provided information and “fun facts” in an entertaining manner. Tour was very well organised with good use of public transport. We were lucky to have a small tour of 9. A lot of ground was covered and we learnt a lot of historical facts and the Neutrality of Switzerland. Bunker information was very interesting.

Good value for what was provided. I got an overview of the city and some of it's important areas along with being provided with some very scenic locations due to the boat and cable car parts of the tour.
Our guide Greg was very enthusiastic and well known. Could tell us a lot about Zurich, with a humoristic touch. We've seen a lot and the tour was well scheduled. If you want to learn something about Zurich, the culture and people, you have to do this tour.
