Questa gita di un giorno vi porta attraverso l'affascinante Garmisch-Partenkirchen fino alla Zugspitze, la montagna più alta della Germania. Iniziate la salita con la nuova funivia, che vi porterà in soli dieci minuti sulla cima di quasi 3.000 metri di altezza. Dopo aver goduto della vista entusiasmante su oltre 400 cime, potrete esplorare la campagna con una breve escursione. Per coloro che amano le cose un po 'più veloce, una pista da slittino è disponibile sul ghiaccio eterno durante i mesi estivi. Gli slittini possono essere presi in prestito gratuitamente. Nei numerosi ristoranti (che offrono anche menù vegetariani e halal) potrete concedervi delizie culinarie. La discesa avviene poi con la storica ferrovia a cremagliera.

Itinerario
Dopo 2 ore di auto da Monaco con il commento dal vivo, arriverai a Eibsee. Lì prenderai la funivia fino allo Zugspitze.
Dopo un'ora di permanenza sulla piattaforma panoramica, camminerai fino alla croce dorata della vetta (ca. 45-60 min) e alle 14:00 ca. prenderete la funivia per lo "Zugspitzplatt" con il ghiacciaio. Avrai tempo a disposizione per pranzare o per uno scivolo di bob sul ghiacciaio (Ristoranti con Self Service e Cibo Halal). A ca. 16:00 Ritrovo alla Zugspitzstation per la discesa con il treno a cremagliera e alle 16:45 inizierete il viaggio di ritorno in autobus a Monaco.

What an unforgettable day at Zugspitze! From the very first moment to the last, the views were absolutely breathtaking — every turn offered something more stunning than the last. The entire trip was beautifully organized from start to finish. Our guide, Monika, made the experience truly special — she was warm, attentive, and endlessly patient with us. Our driver, Matko, did a fantastic job getting us safely and smoothly through it all. Together they made the whole day feel effortless and fun. The journey itself was magical — from the lush green valleys below, all the way up to the mountain peaks and the stunning glacier plateau at the top. Every part of the experience felt like something out of a postcard. This is truly a must-see destination, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!”

Terrible service from Viator. The pick up point in the app didn’t specify a building number (just a vast square). I messaged the day before my trip to clarify this and they gave me the wrong address. I arrived punctually at that address the morning of my trip. I was suspicious because there were no signs of a bus/other travellers. So I messaged again. Again, they told me the same address. Turns out it was completely wrong. I missed the trip and was left stranded alone with a small child. No offer to catch me up to the tour (which had only departed 4 mins before the mistake was realised). No offer of support at all. In fact, the agent on the chat started trying to position this as somehow my fault. Terrible and very upsetting experience, especially as a single parent trying to travel alone with a child like any other family.

As the tour had already departed from the designated meeting point, our team was unfortunately unable to delay the scheduled excursion or arrange an individual pickup after departure. We fully understand your frustration, particularly as you had actively tried to verify the correct location beforehand. We therefore recommend addressing the matter directly with Viator, as they provided the incorrect meeting-point information and handled the communication described in your review. We sincerely regret that this prevented you and your child from joining our Zugspitze tour as planned.

Stunning views from the Bavarian Alps. We had a perfect day weather wise. The Zugspitze cable car is stunning. The cogwheel train down was great too. Got to see a glacier for the first time and had a lovely meal and beer at the top of Zugspitze
