We had a wonderful tour from Shanghai to Zhujiajiao with our guide, Michael. He was excellent—kind, thoughtful, and very attentive in making sure we were comfortable, doing well, and enjoying our time. He spoke English very well and shared a great deal of useful information from the moment he picked us up at the hotel. He provided interesting historical facts about Shanghai and showed deep knowledge of Zhujiajiao’s history and culture. In Zhujiajiao, we visited a beautiful garden, where Michael explained many fascinating details about the architecture and history of the place. We also enjoyed a delightful boat ride, which was one of the highlights of the tour. All in all, this was a great experience. Michael made the tour both informative and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to experience the beauty, history, and charm of Zhujiajiao.
The tour of Zhujiajiao was very interesting. The place is full of historical, architectural, and gastronomic experiences. The guide, Linda, besides being extremely kind, explained details about the history of the place, which greatly enriched the experience. I highly recommend the tour and I also highly recommend Linda as a guide.
I would give this whole tour a 5* rating! Our guide Yun was great! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, fun and gave us a great cultural experience. She went above and beyond our expectations!! A 5* rating to Yun all around. The whole trip was excellent with the pickup service, clean car & excellent driving as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! The experience was fantastic, I leaned about the culture with Maisie. She was very kind , professional, and patiently. She told me about the water pearls. The timing was perfect coordinated for me to be on time at the airport.
We had a Wonderful day trip with our guide Lucy. Highly knowledgeable she took us on a tour of the ancient water town. We learned so much and saw all the highlights. Transfer vehicle was high tech and comfortable as well. Easy pick up from hotel highly recommend.
Had a great water town private tour with Cassie! She led us around the town very efficiently, stopping to explain things along the way as we went. Introduced us to some very tasty local food and the small boat ride gave us a lovely view of the town from the water. The vehicle was comfortable and the driver was good. Would highly recommend!
This particular trip with our tour guide Yun, was very enjoyable and informative. Our guide spoke excellent English, was personable, and spent plenty of time showing and explaining this very picturesque and ancient town to our group. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who plans to visit China and wants a fun and educational view of an adorable working town. Worth the drive from Shanghai. Definitely take the boat ride. Hats off to our driver as well.
