Il tuo tour inizia con il viaggio in treno intercity da Berna a Visp (50 minuti).
Il lago di Thun è un lago fiordo nell'Oberland bernese sul confine settentrionale delle Alpi.
La galleria di base del Lötschberg è una galleria ferroviaria lunga 34,6 chilometri che attraversa la catena alpina settentrionale al Lötschberg tra Frutigen nell'Oberland Bernese (Canton Berna, Svizzera) e Raron (Canton Vallese, Svizzera) ed è stata messa in funzione nel 2007. Questa galleria di base fa parte dell'asse Lötschberg-Sempione del Nuovo collegamento ferroviario attraverso le Alpi (NRLA), che va da Basilea via Bern-Thun-Spiez al Lötschberg e via Brig-Simplon-Domodossola a Milano e Novara-Genova, e accanto a quello parallelo all'asse del San Gottardo, costituisce un secondo tracciato per il traffico merci ferroviario transalpino del Corridoio Europeo (Rotterdam-Genova).
Visp è un comune del Canton Vallese in Svizzera. Si trova all'ingresso della Vispertal, alla foce della Vispa nel Marcio. Il piccolo comune è il capoluogo e il comune più esteso del circondario di Visp. Qui si scende dal treno intercity e si cambia direttamente sulla ferrovia Cervino-Gottardo. La Mattertal è una delle valli laterali meridionali della Valle del Rodano in Vallese. È una delle valli che hanno scavato in profondità le Alpi vallesane a sud, fino alla dorsale alpina principale (c'è anche la dorsale di confine tra Svizzera e Italia) e si aprono a nord verso il Rodano, il principale asse geografico di Vallese. Tre dei quattro massicci montuosi più alti delle Alpi si trovano al confine della valle.

Con un viaggio in treno a cremagliera di 30 minuti si arriva fino a 10000 piedi di altitudine. In questa zona di alta montagna vi aspettano splendidi panorami sul Monte Cervino e sui ghiacciai. Il monte Gornergrat è innevato tutto l'anno.
Il Gornergrat è un crinale montuoso a un'altitudine di 3135 m sul livello del mare. M. Si trova a circa tre chilometri a est di Zermatt nel cantone svizzero del Vallese. Il Gornergrat si trova tra il ghiacciaio del Gorner e il ghiacciaio del Findel e offre una vista su oltre 20 quattromila, tra cui il Monte Rosa, il Cervino e il Liskamm. La Gornergratbahn va da Zermatt (1620 m slm) al Gornergrat, superando un dislivello di quasi 1500 metri. Al capolinea (3089 m slm) sulla punta sud-occidentale della cresta si trova il Kulmhotel, l'albergo di montagna più alto della Svizzera. Visita il punto panoramico con la neve tutto l'anno o dai un'occhiata al mondo dell'esperienza multimediale, che mostra il Cervino e il mondo alpino circostante in tutte le dimensioni, affascinerà grandi e piccini ed è anche un ottimo posto da visitare sul Gornergrat quando il tempo non è così bello.
Dopo il ritorno da Gornergrat, il viaggio di ritorno a Berna avrà luogo (2 ore). Si torna indietro allo stesso modo in cui si è arrivati la mattina.

First of all - it was well organized with all the train connections. Tourguide did a great job. Then a visit to the Gornergrat is an absolute must for anyone in Zermatt. The view of the glacier chain and the Matterhorn is magnificent and unique.
Our tour guide Jackie was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and the views we saw were breathtaking!! Great personality to spend the day with!!
We ended up being the only ones on the tour and it was absolutely amazing! Amil became one of our fast friends…we absolutely adored him! We got up to Zermatt and it was completely covered but during our spectacular lunch the summit completely cleared and we got the best photos! Definitely bring layers and fun to this tour!
Spending time in Europe has always been a dream of mine, and seeing Zermatt and the Matterhorn was top of the list!! Micheal, our guide, was the best! Knowledgeable, compassionate, humorous, and overall just a good person!! With a train delay, i didn't have time to store my luggage. Michael helped me find a locker and get my stuff stored away before the tour. With only three of us in the group, it was a relaxing, joyful experience!

Our tour guide Enzo was so knowledgeable and interesting. We learned alot about Zermatt, the Matterhorn, the Alpine glaciers as well as Switzerland in general. He was considerate, interacting with everyone in a friendly playful manner. And it goes without saying that the scenery was amazing. An experience that needs to be in person because pictures do not do it justice. The icing on the cake was the gorgeous weather we had for the day of the tour. A wonderful day all round.

Remi is very informative and thoughtful! He really values his guests. Although we didn't see the Matterhorn clearly due to a cloudy day, it was well worth it. Our personal guide Remi was very knowledgeable about the train system since he used to work in that field. We moved from train to train with ease. We got lucky with clear skies up in Matterhorn and then of course it changed to clouds. But it was beautiful. We just wished we had more time to explore the town of Zermatt Village and do some shopping. But we spent time up on Matterhorn where you feel like you are touching the clouds. It was a wonderful experience and full of beautiful sights along the journey.

This was the best guided tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide Faseel was top notch and showed us a great time. I wish we could hire him as our personal guide for every vacation we take in the future! The Alps were magnificent and the Matterhorn spectacular. The trains were nice and the overall experience was fantastic. If traveling to Switzerland, this is a must do day trip, and we would definitely use this company again.
