Tutti i tour disponibili, tranne quelli fuori città, seguono i principali itinerari turistici, i luoghi più frequentati e le consuete zone turistiche. Voglio mostrare agli ospiti parti della città che sono ancora nel centro, ma hanno un'atmosfera locale molto più forte. Questa è la missione e la visione alla base di questo tour - per gli ospiti di assaggiare il cibo tradizionale, i sapori della nostra infanzia, e di sperimentare davvero lo spirito locale.

Itinerario
Proprio qui, nel cuore della città, si trova il mercato principale di Zagabria – Dolac. La nostra missione? Per fare uno spuntino a Salò, come viška pogača, soparnik o salenjak, condividete la storia della nostra dispensa e aiutatevi a capire la mentalità croata attraverso il cibo e la cultura. Questo vivace mercato all'aperto è stato la dispensa della città per oltre 90 anni ed è il luogo perfetto per iniziare a esplorare la vita quotidiana di Zagabria e per imparare cosa mangia la gente del posto - e perché.
La nostra seconda tappa è la Cattedrale – l’edificio più bello di Zagabria, segnato più e più volte. Il suo passato turbolento è una storia affascinante che devi semplicemente ascoltare.
Successivamente, ci dirigeremo verso Piazza Europa, dove assaggeremo un altro pezzo di eredità croata e gusteremo un sorso di qualcosa di locale.
Qui, scoprirete le radici del fast food croato e assaggerete del buon pesce vecchio stile, quello che piace ancora ai locali
La nostra passeggiata ci porta in via Martićeva, una delle zone più amate dai locali vicino al centro della città. Lungo Martićeva, ci fermeremo un paio di volte – magari per un gelato, un pancake o qualche altro dolce che i croati amano. Sorseggeremo un caffè e morderemo storie di marchi locali amati, ristoranti, caffè, arte di strada e monumenti storici.
La passeggiata termina al mercato di Kvatrić – uno dei preferiti tra i locali per la sua grande selezione e prezzi accessibili. E non preoccupatevi: anche lì gusteremo alcuni piatti in stile tradizionale e prodotti locali.

We had an absolutely marvelous time with Tea on our food tour ! She was great at keeping us attentive, entertained, and with a full belly. She made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire tour without being overbearing. The anecdotes she shared were a good mix of classical historical facts and everyday life, and we really felt immersed in Zagreb's culture! The food itself was amazing, we had so many different savory and sweet treats, but they still were clearly each picked carefully by her: the experience was very well tailored to us. The portions were very generous too, so pace yourself. For us the extra points were that first, you could really tell she actually knew and was friendly with every vendor we went to. You can see that Tea is part of her community, is well liked by everyone she works with, and has put in the work to have a great relationship with everyone she works with on the tour. Sometimes, you can feel like a bit of a bother to the restaurants and stalls on some food tours, especially with big groups...but here we felt like welcomed at each stop. This also says a lot on how she chooses the stops, not the most famous or Instagram worthy ones, but because she genuinely likes their products and work. She knows and loves the city, the people in it and the work they put in the food they make! Another super extra point for us was how proactive and professional she was, by communicating with us every step of the way, before and after, and making sure we had the right information every time. When there was an issue with the website, she went the extra mile to ensure we could do the tour. Last but not least, there were some very nice personal notes that I won't share here to avoid spoiling good surprises! We hope to come back soon and try another tour with you!!
