I booked this tour for myself and my partner for her birthday. Our tour guide was Diana and she was excellent - very engaging and helpful with all questions. The food we had was great and we were absolutely stuffed after it.
Darko was absolutely amazing! He felt more like a host than a tour guide. He shared his love of Croatia, its food and culture with us and made the time fly by. From the piping hot food, to the tips on where to get the best deals, this was hands down one of the best food tours I've ever done! My friends and I are still raving about it!
The portion sizes were ample and each stop provided time for leisurely tasting and chit chat. Ivana’s perspective combined specific regional knowledge with a sensitivity to our tour members’ tastes and perspectives and a broader interest in preserving Croatian food traditions. The pace was terrific. The price point is a little high, but the access the tour provided to generationally owned, food producers makes up for it. Highly recommend this tour and Ivana as a guide.
Excellent tour. Darko was a great guide. It was a great balance of food and history. The food was exceptional!!! Great value.
We had an excellent tour with Diana. She is engaging, funny, and accommodating . She really knows the history of the area. The food is a good mix to showcase the area which is very different from the coast. You won’t leave hungry.
We loved the Croatian Food Tour in Zagreb! Iva was very knowledgeable about the area and excellent food and liquor choices. Generous servings and 7 different stops. Highly recommended.
Lots of fun tasting different foods and learning about the city. Highly recommend.
Our guide Darko was fabulous. He was funny, educated us on the food and culture and took great care of us.
Our group of 22 did this tour and it was a highlight of the trip. The guides were wonderful and answered all of our questions. We loved getting to know the story behind the local dishes and the history of some of the food in this region. The Borek was the highlight for most of our group, but we loved every bite we took!
We were surprised at the amount of food we were served. All delicious and our guide Iva did an excellent job explaining the cultural tie-ins
