York 'Hidden Gems' Food Tour

We had a fun day exploring the York food scene with Ellie, we enjoyed sampling a variety of dishes and ending with a sweet treat. The route was well organised and got to learn some history along the way too.

Wow, I’m honestly so thankful we had Ellie as our tour guide. Her warmth made me feel instantly relaxed. She was incredible, there were eight of us and Ellie made sure to interact with everyone. Her knowledge and time was amazing. Thank you so much, I will happily book again as long as Ellie was our tour guide. The food was beautiful and something for everyone. Loved going to different places and going to places I would never normally try. Best time. Thank you

The experience was brilliant! Ellie was really warm and friendly right from the get go, and we really enjoyed her company. The pace was perfect, and the food / drink was fantastic throughout. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Amazing fun and very filling day. Got to see six unique stops across York. Different food shops, different stalls, different cuisines. All the very lovely group and our lovely tour guide. Highly recommend doing this again

This was overalla greatexperience. Our tour guide Ellie was friendly and engaging and a little bit of history thrown in on the way - a great host. The food was delicious and to be honest, we visited places we would never have known were there! Just bear in mind if you have food allergies eg anaphylaxis, you need to be careful as peanuts are served.

A fantastic way of discovering independent eateries with like minded people. Ellen and her team had done all the work so it was just a matter of enjoying all the wonderful food they had sourced. I would highly recommend the tour!

A very enjoyable 3.5 hours in the company of Ellen learning about the city while sampling a range of superb good.

I can’t think of a better or more enjoyable way of exploring York than being led by our super host Ellen around some of the city’s various eating establishments. The food was excellent. We tried locally made cheeses and fudge and sampled Asian street food; all while learning about the history of an ancient and beautiful city. Three and a half hours well spent!

What an excellent way to spend sometime in York. Visiting a number of interesting places to eat and drink over a few hours. The tour was very well organised and enabled the group to interact and socialise in York centre. I particularly enjoyed the street food.
