Crociera privata al miglior fiordo vicino a Bergen, il Fiordo Modale. Scopri fiordi e cascate, a partire dal tuo hotel a Bergen. Iniziamo a guardare Bergen dal mare con lo sfondo delle montagne. Godetevi un bicchiere di champagne o una tazza di caffè mentre attraversate i fiordi, dove lo scenario e l'atmosfera si spostano dalla città, al paesaggio incontaminato dei fiordi e alle cascate. Arriviamo agli stretti fiordi remoti e villaggi con bellissime cascate, tutto l'anno. Se piove poco importa, rende le cascate più drammatiche. Ci fermiamo ad una cascata che scende a cascata fino al fiordo, dove si può fare una cascata-doccia. Possiamo attraccare nel villaggio di Mo, dove si può pranzare al caffè locale - ed esplorare il villaggio. Oppure pranzare a bordo, gustato durante la crociera. Portate il costume da bagno se volete, e ci fermiamo per una nuotata vicino alla cascata, un’esperienza unica nella vita. Gli orari sono flessibili. La crociera serale (ore 18) sarà più veloce, ritorno intorno alle 11. Perfetto tour di un giorno di pioggia.

Itinerario
Partiamo dal centro di Bergen, osservando il sito Bryggen, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO, dal mare, con lo splendido sfondo delle sette montagne che circondano la città. Crocierando lentamente sul fiordo, lasciandosi la città alle spalle. Inizia la crociera con un caffè o un tè, e un'atmosfera tranquilla a bordo della nostra barca.
Passando la periferia a Bergen sulla nostra strada per il fiordo, e raggiungeremo questo ponte dove passeremo sotto dopo circa 1 ora di crociera.
Si arriva al Osterfjord dopo 1 ora di crociera. Passiamo sotto il ponte Nordhordland, il settimo ponte pontile più lungo del mondo, e continuiamo su per l’Osterfjord. Guarda il paesaggio cambiare dal paesaggio costiero basso della costa ai profondi fiordi più interni dell'Osterfjord, circondati da maestose montagne e cascate. La vivace città è ormai lasciata alle spalle, e sostituita dalla natura.
Passando la vecchia chiesa bianca a Vike
Su alla fine del fiordo, raggiungiamo la piccola e tranquilla città di Mo. Possiamo fermarci per una nuotata nel fiordo, magari sotto la cascata? Porta il costume da bagno, abbiamo asciugamani e doccia calda a bordo. Possiamo attraccare nel villaggio di Mo per una pausa, dove è possibile pranzare al piccolo caffè locale ed esplorare il villaggio da soli. Nessun altro tour si ferma a Mo, quindi questa è una grande opportunità. Oppure possiamo goderci il pranzo a bordo della barca durante la crociera. Un paesino affascinante, con garantito nessun altro turista, solo noi. Trascorriamo un po 'di tempo qui, rilassarsi e godersi la natura e le cascate. Il pranzo nella caffetteria locale può essere organizzato.

Torniamo a Bergen. Siamo molto flessibili sugli orari, in modo da poter scegliere se si desidera un'esperienza di un'intera giornata con la nostra barca, o semplicemente andare veloce ai fiordi e ritorno.
Raggiungiamo ora Mostraumen, un canale stretto e poco profondo che passeremo sulla nostra strada verso l'estremità interna del fiordo. Belle cascate, montagne maestose, stretti fiordi. Possibilità di doccia a cascata. Grande spettacolare natura con alte montagne, e cascate. Garantiamo un silenzio incantevole, non vi resta che godervelo.

Wonderful scenic excursion for our family group of 12 adults and a one year old baby. Perfect full day including a stop at a fabulous cafe in Mo for a delicious late lunch. Captain Svein was very knowledgeable, super accommodating and professional. We saw gorgeous water falls, great granite cliffs, lovely farms with black sheep in the lowlands between the cliffs. We loved every minute.
What a fantastic boat and captain. The fjords are gorgeous, of course. We loved the pace and comfort. Sven made it all about our wants, and was certain to make sure we checked all the boxes. Highlights were swimming in a sunny cove, and getting so close to a waterfall as to be sprayed and refreshed by it. Blankets, snacks and refreshments were provided and really contributed to the upscale luxury experience. Sven’s boat is a beautiful Princess 50. It is clean and maintained like new. Remember to bring layers of clothes, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be super warm at times, if it’s a sunny day. Bring your bathing suit as well for that awesome Nordic plunge experience. We are thinking of coming back for an extended multi-day cruise with See The Fjords. Thank you Sven.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with See the Fjords and captain Sven on a private cruise to Modalen. From start to finish, everything felt exclusive and well taken care of. We had amazing lunch onboard, from Fjellskål. The service was excellent, and the captain Sven was friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The scenery was breathtaking, quiet fjords, steep mountains, and waterfalls everywhere. We even got to «shower» in a waterfall. It was a peaceful and personal experience, perfect. Everything was well organized by them, so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. Highly recommended!

Fantastic day cruise to the Modal Fjord. Great view in the fjords, with waterfalls and steep hills on both sides of the fjord. Good lunch onboard the boat as well, organized by the company See the Fjords.
A great day with Captain Tony on his boat, taking us from Bergen to the beautiful fjords. Tony served us good atmosphere from the first moment, and as we cruised up the fjord, he also added great view, mountains and many waterfalls. A great slow speed cruise, very relaxing. We had lunch in Modal at the cafe, with good food and great view to the nearest waterfall. No rush during our cruise, so we chose to be back in Bergen around 5:30. Positive: A great activity on a rainy day, the boat was perfect for this.
The cruise was amazing, scenic, and heavenly. It's the perfect way to see the Fjords, and you get to do it at your own pace. The Yatch is in superb condition and luxurious. Overall we strongly recommend it to everyone.
