Clean facility, very organized teaching team, step by step instructions for all three dishes. End products were yummy and felt we could repeat it at home.
Lovely instructor who explained every step well. Food tastes restaurant level. The most smoothly run organized cooking class I have ever taken. Recipes in beautiful books handed out at the end. They took pictures for us during the class and shared st the end so we didn’t have to try to cook and snap photos at the same time. Location easy to find and darling. Highly recommend!
My 11 year old kid and I had so much fun at this class; I'd consider it very family friendly for kids ages 8+. Our instructor was absolutely lovely. The Xiao Long Bao folding was trickier than expected(!) but utterly delicious not matter how lopsided our dumplings turned out. :) The kitchen was clean, they provided aprons, and had all the proper tools for each participant. The location is on the 2nd floor of the building; you have to ring the buzzer to be let in.
Clean and very well organised. Would highly recommend. Everything set out to make the cooking easier and patient teacher. Lovely to share the prepared food at the end of the class
Excellent fun cooking class with the best quality ingredients. Instructors are fluent in English as well as Japanese. The pace is perfect and truly a fun, educational and delicious experience. Highly recommended.
Caring, friendly instruction and superb organization made it easy to accomplish. Nice intermittent tea breaks. The best was enjoying the food we made.
A wonderful experience! The location and the hostess are great! The hostess is wholeheartedly involved and I really liked the mood and atmosphere. The organization is very professional. The hostess speaks excellent English, which is very helpful. At the end of the course we received a certificate with the recipes, a very nice touch. I highly recommend taking a cooking class at CookingFun Taiwan!
The Sakura so'Ramen restaurant is a very friendly little Japanese restaurant, we went there as a couple, warm welcome, calm and relaxing atmosphere, we wanted to taste the chicken ramen and I really found it very good and fragrant, slightly spicy and very well prepared, the portions are well proportioned, homemade. The manager of the establishment, very smiling and helpful, asked us if everything was okay. For dessert we had Mochi, me with cream and my partner had them iced, both are very good, refined as the Japanese know how to do so well, for drinks we had a real green tea in leaf served in a small teapot. In total we paid 49€, which is not excessive. In any case, I am really happy with this experience which I found very pleasant and which I will repeat with pleasure. I just regret one thing, I find that there is not enough choice on the menu, I hope that this restaurant will prosper and that this will allow it to expand the choice of dishes, because it has the merit of being known !
This class with CookingFunTaiwan was great. The staff spoke English well and were attentive, helpful, and professional. Our class was 8 people and though the staff had multiple people to look after the class didn't feel rushed and I felt they had enough time to teach and watch over my individual cooking progress. For the class we made, pork thick soup, bubble milk tea, and xiao long baos. I have never had pork thick soup, but ended up liking the flavor and consistency. The xiao long baos, which took up most of the time as expected, were fun to make and turned out great. And the bubble milk tea was as delicious as always. Glad to have gotten the recipes to make all of these at home and would definitely recommend the class to others.
Amazing class with great food and a professional staff. I would certainly recommend taking it if you are interested in learning how to make xiao long bao. Our class had 8 students in it and the two teachers were able to interact and help all the students. The class did not feel rushed, and questions we had were clarified. The xiao long bao turned out great and I wasn't sure what to expect from the pork thick soup, but I ended up enjoying that as well. I will certainly be making these recipes again at home.
