Workshop portoghese sulle piastrelle

The owner was gracious enough to still do the workshop even though we thought our time was 30 minutes later. We attended with two teenage girls who enjoyed it as well. The instructions were quick and a little confusing, but only because we had to makeup time. Unfortunately, my tile did not print correctly despite several attempts, but I got to keep all the tiles anyway. I do not recommend this for children under 12. Our driver knew exactly where this was but it is a little tricky to find.

This was a great experience to do something with the family that we can bring home as memory and gift. I was with my kids (6-8), their grandparents, and a young couple. We were able to select the patterns and colors and saw the process that go from color paper to have pressed it on the tile.

A wonderful class! Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Excellent teaching, relaxed, with expert kits to help with our designs. Our tiles came out stunning!

We really enjoyed this experience and our tiles came out so well. Instructor was very helpful and hospitable. Only wish there had been an option to select English speaking class because everyone else there only spoke French so we were unable to communicate with our classmates, only the instructor. Overall very good experience!

This was a perfect way to spend the afternoon when the hills and heat of Lisbon were starting to be too much. The host was friendly and welcoming. The workshop started with a quick practice, followed by painting the actual pattern, which is then replicated digitally and printed on the tile, no drying time required. There were many stencils to choose from, as well as many colours, no artistic ability required. If all the options were overwhelming, there were many examples and pictures around to gain inspiration. And the best part, you get to take home your one of a kind tile as a souvenir

This was a fun experience! It was held in the instructors home. Very intimate setting with just four people. The instructor was very helpful and made the process easy to complete.

Excellent introduction to the creation of art tiles! A comfortable apartment studio atmosphere and a graciousnand helpful host.

This was a special and unique experience and we loved the fact we were able to leave with our tiles. We learned the history and technique behind making Portuguese tiles and got to saw our unique designs come to life. Would do again if we return to Lisbon.

This was a great cultural experience! She directed us and was patient with us as we made our tiles. We were pleased we could take home our personalized tile the same day. We highly recommend this tile workshop to others!

It was an intimate setting, in the artist’s home! I didn’t get her name (it was French and there was a bit of a language challenge) but I asked many questions, she was helpful and patient! A lovely experience that we all (4of us) enjoyed! And we got to bring our pattern and the tile home with us!
