This was a lovely way to take a break from the hectic environment of the Medina to try something new. A driver picks you up and brings you to a cooperative in the new city where you learn about the artistry and technique involved in Moroccan pottery, mosaics and zellige. Then you get to try your hand at it. Everyone is very friendly. No pressure to buy things unless you want to.
This experience was truly so fun! You get to see how artisans create Moroccan tiles and pottery in real-time. Creating my own tile and painting a cup was a very relaxing activity after a trip full of bustling medinas and desert exploring. I highly recommend doing this during your trip to Fez!
Booked last minute through Tripadvisor. They responded immediately on whatsapp to arrange the transfer. Very nice experience Brief explanation on how the typical Moroccan zelliges are produced, then workshops where we made tiles and tajines that they then gave us as souvenirs. I recommend doing it at least two days before departure because then they have time to prepare the tajine and bring them directly to the ryadh. Nice experience

Very pleasant experience. Our guide introduced us to the workshop and the work of the craftsmen. Then the activities allowed us to learn at our own pace about painting and zelliges. A moment of discovery and relaxation.
This class is at a co-op that has local artisans. You will get a taste of pottery, painting, and making mosaics. You get to learn how they do things and what really defines pottery as Moroccan. I LOVED this experience. And even bought a plate with a design that is specific to that workshop.

Everything was great! Ahmed welcomed us and introduced us to the cooperative, with the different positions (pottery, tailoring, assembly,...). Then we went to do the zellige workshop as well as painting. We were able to choose our support and our colors. Everything was very well explained and we enjoyed this moment. Then we went to try the potter trick with Youssef, it was very interesting. We left with our mosaics, and our little pottery will be brought directly to our riad. Finally, go through the beautiful shop. The taxi was on time to bring us in and take us back from the blue door. We had a great time with family, we highly recommend this experience if you visit fes!

Very nice and doable with children. Time flew by, the shop there is a candy store we bought a nice sink and gave our own artwork a nice place at home. Thanks for the explanation the Welcoming and your guidance
