Such a wonderful experience! The team walked us through the different types of wood, their meaning and history. And then we began - picking and refining our wood down to chopsticks. Then sanding them smooth, and choosing our names in the various languages and laser-engraving them onto our chopsticks. We were really excited to do this activity as a family, but I can genuinely say it even beat those high expectations. We will never forget this, every time we use our sticks!

The experience was quick - 90ish minutes. But they let a couple that came before us stay longer because a guy from the previous time slot wanted to keep working on his chopsticks - they weren't pushy or trying to get them to leave, and his chopsticks came out great :) The room is nicely air conditioned, helping us keep cool from the absolute blazing heat and humidity. Yuka was friendly and helpful. The owner, while he couldn't speak much English, was also helpful when a little issue with the planer wasn't working well for my husband. Our chopsticks were engraved for free if we left a review, and that was a great added "ruse" to get us to write about this, but I would've written about it anyway because it was such a pleasant and easy experience.
Excelente experiência, desde o momento em que entrámos pela porta. Fomos super bem recebidos pelo Kaito e pela Yuka. Foram extremamente simpáticos, acompanhando-nos em todos os processos desde a farinha e água, ao amassar a massa e ao fazer o ramen. Ainda partilharam connosco algumas tradições e histórias japonesas que enriqueceram ainda mais a experiência. Por fim, pudemos provar o fruto do nosso trabalho e o resultado estava fenomenal. Muito obrigado por tudo! Recomendaremos de certeza!
